Call your dealer with your vin # they can tell you
I think it’s all refreshed models. Mines a 22.5.For those of you who are getting software updates done is that on a 2023 or 2024 model? I just purchased a 2024 AT4x and I am trying to figure out if I need to get my software updated as well. Appreciate the insight.
It's probably the same one. Call the dealer and they should be able to look it up for you and make sure you already have it.I thought I had this done in September
Is this a new one ?View attachment 20911
Nothing different for me. Apple CarPlay works great and no issues with anything else in the infotainment system.on a serious note, has anyone had this installed and noticed anything different? GM, if you're listening, you need to post "release notes" with these updates.
Had this update done today. It did not fix the intermittent sound cutouts. Thought I saw another post somewhere that said it also updated the android to version 12 but mine is still on 10.I also got the email and got this update a couple weeks ago. It takes 1-2 hours, has to be done at dealer, and it fixes the intermittent sound cutouts on the infotainment system (among other issues) and serial data gateway module
Now my sound system only cuts out once.
I completely agree with you it is very sad especially at this price point that they aren't nearly flawless every time. That being said it sounds like you're update did not take?Had this update done today. It did not fix the intermittent sound cutouts. It's severely disappointing that OEMs can't figure out a solid software solution for the built in functionality. My previous vehicle wasn't this bad, in regards to software glitches, but still happy with the truck.
then something isn't right. Mine is on android 12 now. I'm working on a before and after video to show any differences. But i definitely took photos of the version before going in and now and it's on 12.Had this update done today. It did not fix the intermittent sound cutouts. I'll ask about the update when I go back because my driver's seat annoyingly still squeaks, after he greased the tracks. I knew right away that wasn't the fix. The tech said he has to look into it.then something isn't right. Mine is on android 12 now. I'm working on a before and after video to show any differences. They probably didn't even do it!
I believe the current revision of the recall/serial data module update removed the head unit update portion due to some other issues that were popping up. If you are still on Android 10 you probably just had it done after the most recent revision.Had this update done today. It did not fix the intermittent sound cutouts.
