Your Vehicle Requires a Software Update

My car play blanks out several times and it sounds like this update would be good for me. I checked and I’m running android 10. I checked for updates and says none. Tried it 2 more times and said none. It is connected to my home WiFi which is fast so can upload through it. But how do I get it to update when it’s saying there isn’t one available?

Make an appointment with your dealer and bring a thermos of coffee ?

talked to GM today for an appointment, its to update the software for radio. And yes its an hour update. Wtf

No details and it takes an hour plus to accomplish...
Very suspect
Very suspect, they are probably plotting to use your truck to steer hurricanes. It’s actually an update to the serial data gateway module to prevent dead batteries after or during over the air updates which was happening on some vehicles

Funny thing about cruise; I've only inadvertenly hit the cruise button a couple of times in the time I've owned this truck, which is not good, since I always want to be in control of this heavy monster while driving; is there a way to disable cruise control all together?
Hit the button on the steering wheel that looks like a gauge until you no longer see the grayed out indicator on your instrument panel that normally shows the speed set. Otherwise it’s on all the time, even after restarting. I did the same thing on mine, it was still on and I was tooling through an RV park scouting spots. When I turned the corner I accidentally hit the set wheel. The minimum set speed is 15mph so it figured it should be at that speed now. It dropped the hammer and slung gravel. Scared the crap out of me until I figured out what was happening. Now I make sure to shut it off when not using it.

Yeah the hurricane thing makes plenty of sense since I'm in North Carolina

Does anyone know what the most current version should be. I just bought a 2024 AT4x, here are photos of the version I currently have. I would like to get to the latest version so I don't run into any issues receiving future updates.

on a serious note, has anyone had this installed and noticed anything different? GM, if you're listening, you need to post "release notes" with these updates.

I had the recall software update done last Friday, along with an available IPC update. I can now see music/song information in the HUD when I change the station/song. Other than that, no observable differences so far.

That and my sound only cuts out once now when it first starts as opposed to 3-5 times.

For those of you who are getting software updates done is that on a 2023 or 2024 model? I just purchased a 2024 AT4x and I am trying to figure out if I need to get my software updated as well. Appreciate the insight.
