2024 Sierra 2500HD AT4 Endless mods

Finally installed the PPE Transmission pan. Install wasn’t too bad. Fresh filter and some good ole AMSOIL to end this project off. 👌🏻

Started on the truck today, definitely don’t have the mods you got yet but I’m going to get after it. I hate chrome so I ordered some things to start going to town on this thing, badges were first. Can’t believe how expensive some hub caps were lol 😂. Did the recon fender lights, ceramic tint all around including the clear on the windshield I can’t believe how much heat it blocks out of the windows compared to regular tint. Kicker sub is a great addition, Monday I’ll go grab the tailgate sub and I am ordering a 3inch haven’t decided on shocks yet with some nittos, I actually like the factory wheels for the first time in my life. Waiting on an intake to be available and programmer.

What are your review on the kicker sub?

Yikes! I’m way behind the curve! Congratulations!

My wife is hoping that mods on my new truck won’t be as expensive as the last few trucks and jeeps… You’d think she’d know better after forty years…. :ROFLMAO:

I’d love to hear what a stereo like that sounds like. I don’t need anything thumpy that vibrates the interior of the neighboring vehicles and homes (that would be embarrassing), but I do love quality audio.

I bought a fully loaded AT4X Duramax AEV edition. So far, all I’ve added is wheels, a Retrax bed cover, tint, and Yakima bed rack. Banks gauges, winch, compressor, and backup lights will be on the way as soon as I can find a sanitary way to mount and switch all of it, as GM doesn’t provide convenient upfitter switches and wiring harnesses like Dodge, Ford, and Jeep.

What did you happen to do with your AEV wheels?

I wish I had all the money back that I wasted on my ex wife. I'll never regret modifying vehicles as its a passion. No, its not an investment, more of a liability, but its what most of us enjoy doing with our time.
I enjoy the utility — having all the features and capability I want — but I don’t enjoy doing the work the way I did when I was younger. Now I just want it all done.

I also want the truck to look and drive at least as good as stock, and it needs to be able to tow, so I’m done with aftermarket lifts and 37”+ tires.

Kept them for winter use. A new set of pinned Duratracs is on the way. I like running studded Duratracs in the winter. I’ve never had a better tire on the ice — which explains why they are going to be discontinued. Many of the Duratracs in stock are no longer pinned to accept studs…
