2024 Sierra 2500HD AT4 Endless mods

Yes. its the iconic ofx2gv guy that makes incredible emblems/badging. And I appreciate the compliment man. I am always ordering parts for my truck and trying to tinker with something. Sometimes I have to remind myself that less is more hahaha. Right now I am battling the terrible reverse lights. I want more light, but I dont like the look of light pods, I am all about the OEM + appearance.

Any luck on the reverse lights. these oem ones are pathetic and I agree with you about the pods. Nice build you got going on , looks great.

Did you remove the stock ones first or just put over the top of them? Bad ass truck by the way!

It would be awesome if these guys could make some "GMC" emblems. I don't know why GM doesn't make either all black or black border with red letter emblems...

Edit: I just looked through their website and they do, in fact, have a "custom" section where you can pretty much order any color emblem!

I know the question was not directed at me but I would like to answer please. I hope the person in question will not mind my interference but I did this install yesterday and I would suggest removing the original badge. I was asking myself the same question at the moment of install and I did the right thing. It's flush, not sticking out being in the way of the wash mitt or detailing cloth. I definitely suggest this mod and I would like to thank ofx2gv for making those.

I was thinking that I should but how hard was the removal?

Very easy with the proper tools. I had a heat gun, a x-acto knife (just to pry up the corner a little bit because a trim tool would not fit) and dental floss. Once you get the dental floss under and the emblem at the correct temperature, it's a piece of cake. I took my time to remove the first one intact but for the second, I asked myself "are you really going to reuse those ?" so I destroyed the second in half the time I removed the first one. I cleaned the old adhesive with isopropyl alcohol. The emblem is hard and goes into a predetermined spot so you don't even have to use the soap/water with a partially peeled back sticker method. I heated the new emblem, heated the fender "vent" trim and put it directly on

I didn’t have a heat gun handy, and knew that I wasn’t going to reuse the stock emblem , and couldn’t get anything in the edge so I did the next best thing! I took my dremel and made an opening in the center of the emblem and got my pry tool in there. Pried it right out. Definitely wasn’t a finesse install but it worked!

Got some fresh insight on possibly being able to modify and alter some "Factory Performance Settings" in the near future (March or April) with the help of a MPVI3 from HPtuners. Currently they are just cleaning up some fuel tables and ensuring reliability without all the dash lights being on. Getting pretty excited to see better than 13mpg out of my truck (as I am on a 6" lift and 37's with an approximate weight of 9200lbs). I imagine its going to be a bit pricey like the previous generation L5P's were. Probably somewhere around the 5000-7000 range depending on options/add on. REALLY excited to get rid of the pesky transmission stutter that my truck has started to do.

Current plan for me is to swap out the Banks iDash and the Pedal Monster setup (will be for sale with the factory a-pillar mount if anyone is interested) to the Edge CTS3 for more visible data while driving. As soon as I can get my MPVI3 and load files, Ill go ahead and order a 5" full exhaust system and have it sent off to get ceramic coated (Jet-Hot coated) in all black, and then order all of my Wehrli Custom Fab stuff (Intercooler pipes, Turbo inlet pipe, Intake and filter, upper coolant pipe, downpipe, Coolant tank, Aux Coolant tank, and possibly the billet manifolds and up pipes). Ill also order my list from PPE (front diff cover, rear diff cover, trans pan, oil filter adapter with relocation bracket, and trans bar cooler) and swap all fluids over to Amsoil.

Starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel for moving forward with the performance upgrades as I am running out of aesthetic upgrades hahaha. I am a very OEM+ type of guy and less is more for sure. Still need to do some paint matching on some parts to wrap up the exterior and then finish the custom tailgate speaker setup I've been developing (trying to put together a full plug and play system with parts list and links for everyone. Ill also try and do a step by step guide for install when I get some time).

Let me know what kind of mods yall are doing to yalls trucks. If I run out of mods, Ill have to start the twin turbo setup on my wife's 6.2 Yukon Denali, and I don't think she wants me to hahahaha. Who the hell DOESNT want 650hp at any given moment.

The mods have started and will probably never end. I’ll try and post as much as I can and as often as I can to keep everyone updated. I am no expert at any of this, just passionate about modifying my vehicles to my liking.

Had a question Im also looking to purchase the MBRP 4" DPF back exhaust. I was about to order from Alligator performance and XDP but both companies advised me to wait due to a check engine light occuring after install possibly due to lower back pressure being detected due to the sensitivity of GM's new global B architecture . I called MBRP direct and they stated they are unaware of any issues on the 24's . I also contacted Banks as well (theirs is pending not available) and received the same answer. Have you had any issues with your MBRP system?

What black lug nuts did you use? I have yet to find the correct lug nuts that match the stock units. Most have the wrong conical seat angle.

gm has the black nuts, part# 85124436.

And a set with locking nuts, part# 85124437.

I have the same questions. Been wanting to do something with the exhaust, so dont want the crazy check engine lights that everyone has been talking about with the 24's!!!
