2024 Sierra 2500HD AT4 Endless mods

I didn’t use a t harness. I ran new speaker wires from the new 8 channel amp out to each speaker so t harness would be a bit of a waste. If you cut off the tape from the wire bundle coming out of the Bose amp on the back wall you can just cut the wires there. I cut and added new wire to run into my new amp inputs. My schematic attached shows you the wire color and +- for each channel. Factory Bose uses one channel for each woofer/tweeter pair. I now control each tweeter/woofer independently

AIS Bose GMC Harness

I used this to add Focal speakers all around with a DSP amp and JL Audio 10" sub. It was simple plug and play (and crimp).
This is the same harness I used. He was pretty great at helping through the process.

Also, something to note for those that don't want to replace everything in the truck. A few simple mods can help tremendously.
-Sound deadening in and on the doors
-AudioControl AC-LGD load resistors
-Simply replacing the door/ dash speakers with slightly lower ohm speakers (the Bose amp can handle down to 2 Ohms)
-Subwoofer

Edge EZ install going on today. Pretty stoked to see the power difference 👌🏻. Hope it’s better than just a throttle booster like they say it is.

Let us know...
Fucking ROCKET ship on Level 5. Makes my truck (6” lift on 37’s) feel like a supercharged half ton truck. Throttle response is beautiful, but the biggest difference is from about 40mph to 80mph. Takes no time at all! 👌🏻. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Now I need to learn more about this device.

So, day one under the belt. Truck immediately felt more powerful. And after a few hours of driving (Texas, it’s 2 hours to get anywhere) I got use to the power. No complaints. I do wish I could adjust the power level and throttle sensitivity on my CTS3 instead of my phone, but I’m sure that will be available soon. Fuel mileage definitely went up when driving civilized. And the truck just all around felt healthier. Still contemplating doing exhaust manifolds, up pipes, and down pipe (either PPE or WC Fab) to start prepping for when I can do some major weight loss.

Oil change day. Went ahead and knocked out the PPE coolant pump relocation kit so I could run the PPE mega oil filter. Install wasn’t bad at all, added about 30 minutes to my oil change. Be prepared to add a little coolant back into the truck as you will loose a little. I added an extra 2/3 of a quart of oil, totaling in at 10 and 2/3 quarts as the PPE filter is quite a bit bigger. I also run Liqui-moly Molygen Motor Protect to help with ticking (roughly 1/2 a quart each oil change).

Update on the audio. After about a year of use on the AudioControl speakers, I’d give them a respectful 6.5 out of 10. Definitely better than the stock Bose speakers, but below my usual purchase from Focal. Another company reached out to me to do a trial on their speakers, so I’ll be swapping them out this week. New speakers going in are Audison Prima’s. 2” in the dash, 6.5” components in the front, and 6.5” mid drivers in the rear. All of which are 2ohm speakers with a similar build spec to the AudioControl, but Audison is known for their audio Quality. The speakers will be powered by the AudioControl DSP 6 channel amp I already have installed as Audison did not supply their DSP yet. I’ll post comparison pictures while I’m doing the swap and I’ll check regularly to try and answer question y’all have.

Edge Insight installed with the Underdog Diesel A-pillar mount. Way more streamlined than the Banks iDash in my opinion. Also have my Banks iDash and my pedal commander up for sale if anyone is interested.

hey whats up brotha, i came across your post looking for ideas for my sons truck lol... but questions on that Edge/Insight. was it easy to install, PNP, or took a minute? as well as notice any difference with drivablility? one more thing i have a 24 Denali Ultimate HD, and been looking to put an intake on it since i got it back in 23, but no one makes them for them. on my 20 i had a banks intake and loved it. i seen you got a SB on yours, but the websites dont have them listed for sale. are they still in development, and not yet released to the GP. nice looking build you got going. ONly other mods im looking to do to mine is a system with starlight headliner, intake, and exhaust.

Install on the Edge/Insight was super easy, very much plug and play, might've taken me 20 minutes. The difference I found is my Turbo lag is almost non existent now and I gained a little more power that I lost with the lift and tires. The S&B intake was sent over to me by S&B as an R&D. It fits, but the MAF sensor gets put in a bind. The best intake currently is the WCFab intake. If you're looking to do a system ( I assume you mean audio) be very careful with your install. Mine was very finnicky.
