Great job, I have utilized the VLED brand in the past and now I have it on my AT4. The Ram had the nice 12" screen, but the reverse lights sucked. This is the VLED on my GMC. I wired it into my 7 pin plug. Some people buy the plug that goes in between the 7 pin bumper mount and the actual harness behind the bumper. I did the cheap splice job. This is the 3rd truck I have used them on and they work great.Added back up lighting. Used the road shock lights from harbor freight. Spliced them into the cargo lights, which is accessible behind the tail light housing. No problem for both of them. Did the same thing on my 2017 and never had any issues.

That looks great, probably would have gone that route if I knew it existed. Would have wanted to see those pics though before dropping the cash.Great job, I have utilized the VLED brand in the past and now I have it on my AT4. i see that you're also afraid of the small at4 on the front grille!Hyper dipped the badges
I’d have to say no. I got mine off but it wasn’t easy. It would be easy with grill removal, but I didn’t want to take the fender flares loose and mess with all that. I reached in from the backside (through the vents-that came loose and I had to put back) and finally got it out. Broke the chrome one in the process. Long story short I did it but it wasn’t the funnest mod I’ve done.I’m about to hyperdip (next weekend I hope). Does the front GMC emblem come off easily? That would help a ton.
Damn, I was hoping I could go in from the top to remove just the GMC emblem. The “easy” mods are never so easy.I’d have to say no. I got mine off but it wasn’t easy. was there no way to get a tool behind there and just snap the clips off and let the old one fall out? Any pics of the back of the old emblem to give me an idea of what it's attached like? Thanks man! That was my hope…but it’s NOT the case.
It might could be done with a flat screwdriver but it’s not real easy. I didn’t take pics of the part but from memory there are 3 clips on the top and 2/3 on the bottom. The new emblem is a good reference for location.was there no way to get a tool behind there and just snap the clips off and let the old one fall out?
