Bilstein 6112/5160

I am new here, and looking to put the 6112/5160 setup on my 21 sierra. It won't let me direct message you for some reason. See if you can DM me if you would allow me to pick your brain about your setup. I am in Mansfield, TX. Thanks
My apologies, I really don't check the forum anymore. I've just been busy with work and kids. I messaged you back though :)

I ordered mine on the highest setting fully assembled from SuspensionLifts.com on Fed 22, received the rears on the 26th and the fronts on the Mar 4.. Two weeks wasn't a bad wait. I already had the UCA because I was going to install a level, decided to just use the UCAs and the Bilstein's.
I still have a good 1" rake with mine, I might install the lower level shim to bring it up just a bit. This is with the 6.2L.

My stock Ranchos have begun to clunk at 40k miles, so it is finally time to upgrade my suspension. I am looking to go the same route as you with the 6112's up front with ReadyLift UCA's and likely a shim or puck for an additional 1". How has yours been working out for you with the additional 1" shim? any issues?

I still haven't got around to installing the lower shock shim, summer is here and its hot! Plus with the kids out of school we do a lot in the summer so It might be a month before I get to it.

I went ahead and ordered the 6112's from SuspensionLifts.com with the preset at Clip 2 (0.60"). My plan is to keep the ReadyLift leveling kit and add this suspension for a 2.5" additional lift over stock. Hopefully this works out with no issues.

Do you have any pictures of your truck right now? You running 35's already?

Looks great! How bad does it rub?
It was a decent amount of plastic. I also did the mudflap bracket delete which helped a lot to add space. It wasn't a lot of work, I just did it often because I didn't want to cut too much so I would trim a little as I found the spots it would rub.

Did the gradual trimming of my flaps until there was no more to remove. Used a dremel tool and ground/thinned out the plastic. Ultimately had to do the bracket delete to remove rubbing all the time, not just just hard turns.

Yea, the bracket delete helped a lot. I m sure the tires rubbed away some of the plastic, and the tires now have 40k miles of wear which helps.

I have a mudflap delete kit thats been in my garage for months. It requires cutting away some of the metal behind the mudflap. I haven't bothered installing this since I don't rub anymore. I may need to whenever I get new tires though.

Looks great! The jury still out on making the jump to 35s. Do I want to trim that much and loose the mileage that stock set up gets? Either way I love the look of your tire and wheel combo! I am different I guess and want a soft ride. I had a 2006 F550 for years and that thing road like a truck for sure. Anyways, I am still researching shocks and the Bilstein set up is still in contention, along with Fox as I do like the aluminum body for longevity and have heard they are on the softer side. Not as soft as Kings but not as firm as Bilstein.

Finally installed the Bilstein 6112/5160's over the weekend. Only had a few short drives so they are still stiff, but definitely more planted than the Ranchos. Hoping to post a good review once they are broken in.
