Bilstein 6112/5160

Did you level the front too, and get the RC uca's for 3.5" lift? Or go with their stock height uca's? I got the 3.5 ones. The stock height ones look way cooler, but I needed the 3.5's

Yes I leveled it (top clip), pretty sure they were the stock height uca’s but specs were they were good up to 3.5” lift. Ball joint is at a bit of an angle but nothing like the stock ones were.

Just noticed you are in FTW, what part? Curious to see another truck around here with Bilstein.
I’m up around Keller, we have like a mini cult thing going on at work with AT4’s and Duramax. My son also has an AT4x with a DMax, I’m the first one to put the Bilsteins in but likely not the last 😂

I ordered mine on the highest setting fully assembled from SuspensionLifts.com on Fed 22, received the rears on the 26th and the fronts on the Mar 4.. Two weeks wasn't a bad wait. I already had the UCA because I was going to install a level, decided to just use the UCAs and the Bilstein's.
I still have a good 1" rake with mine, I might install the lower level shim to bring it up just a bit. This is with the 6.2L.

Nice. How difficult of a job is it. I'd imagine the rears are pretty easy but what about the fronts. Did you need any special tooling.

HAHA they make a huge difference. They are firm, but not horrible. So far I love mine. I didn't get any lift after they settled, I just measured this weekend and it was the same I had posted a while back on another thread.

I might do the same as hdrolling and install a small spacer lift in the front to get a little more.

I'm also not particular with the UCA's I used as while I do like the positive caster it provided, it has also made me rub very bad on the mud flap pretty bad. I've chopped up the factory ones and still get some rub but not at much. I might change it up later and go with readylift UCA's or Rough Country's.

What size tires?

I've installed full lifts on HD trucks so compared to that it was simple, just time consuming.
Not sure about special tools but I have about every tool you can imagine so I can't think of anything extra you might need if you buy the fully assembled style.

And my truck had like 4k miles on it, '2025 so everything was clean and not rusted.
Half the nuts felt like they should have been tighter stock.

They are pretty easy to do the fronts. Just going to take some time. I took roughly 3 or 4 hours can't remember now, but I did it in an afternoon by myself. Controls arms are a little more time consuming.

I'm running a 275/65R20. They are 34.1" tall. I didn't rub before the lift and now after I am.
I just put in 275/70-18s on. Tick over 33”. I’m less than an inch clearance to the mudflap during turning lock to lock. Front had more space. This is with 6112s at the highest setting.

I am new here, and looking to put the 6112/5160 setup on my 21 sierra. It won't let me direct message you for some reason. See if you can DM me if you would allow me to pick your brain about your setup. I am in Mansfield, TX. Thanks
