Bilstein 6112/5160

Nice!! Looks so good! I'm waiting on my 6112/5100 with Icon UCAs from Shock Surplus. I was worried the highest circlip wouldn't be enough, but your truck looks perfect!
Yeah the front is about an inch lower but it actually looks perfect! Ride so far is great, firm but very comfortable. Loving it so far. I need to take it back to the alignment shop as my steering wheel is off a little.

What wheel/tire set up? I have ICON UCAs and have about 1/2” with factory wheel/tire sizes. Let us know what spacers you go with. Going to love the ride. I noticed my front camera view changed a bit. Nothing serious but it was noticible.
Looks great!
I have the BDS UCA's and I'm running the factory 20's with a 275/65R20 Nitto Terra Grapplers G3's. I'm shocked they are this close to the arm, not a fan. Also noticed that now the tires rub on the mud flap, which is what I was trying to avoid by staying with factory width, just taller tires. I just read that BDS give more positive caster which means it more likely tilted the wheel back, which is causing the rub. Wondering if I should have gone with a different UCA now.. :cautious:

I had to put a 1/4” spacers in mine too because tires just barely touched the Rough Country UCA’s, I was a bit miffed at first as well but it faded pretty quickly.

Any specific brand for spacers, either positive or negative?

I think my cleared stock but I was like 2mm away. I put in a 6mm so it has a little space now. Still rubbing on the mud flap which annoys me. Going to try heating it up and pushing it back a little.

Took some pics this morning with the talk if UCA clearance with tires. I have factory wheels and tire sizes. These are ICON UCAs. As guessed about 1/2”. I’m seeing 1/4-12” spacers in my future especially with plans to go with a 285 or 295 setup.

So the rears (5160's) came last week and I immediately installed. Already the back feels better. Finally got a shipment date for the assembled 6112's. Ordered all on 4/11. Front coilovers arrive next monday 4/28. I'm excited! Hopefully they arrive early enough that I can install after work that day.

That does look uncomfortably close!
So far nothing to indicate rubbing on the UCAnn B with normal city/hwy driving. Heading out in a big roadtrip west with some trail drives coming up. Will keep you updated.

Well that's good! I already installed 1.5" spacers purely for a more aggressive stance. I'm just running the stock 20" wheels and tires too. So hopefully that's more than enough for me after I put the new UCAs in with the coilovers. Good luck on your hopefully tire-rub-free road trip!

Did you level the front too, and get the RC uca's for 3.5" lift? Or go with their stock height uca's? I got the 3.5 ones. The stock height ones look way cooler, but I needed the 3.5's

Got the 6112's today. Pulled one side apart. Began installation. Control arm in. Went to put coilover in and after some swearing, I realized that Suspensionlifts.com had put the tophat on frigging backwards! Had to spin them both around. But after the struggle figuring that out on the first one, second side was done in no time. Leveled out nicely. And wow! What a difference in ride. It's been said already, but I'm saying it myself now, it went from feeling like a boat to a sports car! I only drove around town a bit. I can't wait to hit the highway tomorrow for a cruise.
