No worries yeah the 1500 is setup differently then the 2500's. Behind the front bumper is designed differently. As you can see there is little to no room behind the panels for lights. The 2500 has a lot more room behind these panels.
You can see the 2500 has a different design behind the bumper, and more room.

Just put the S&B cold air intake on today…nice kit and everything fits well..love the fact that I can actually hear some engine noice when I get into the throttle. Way to quiet stock.

Thanks guys. Darn it, I was hoping to use that same space on a 1500. I need a plan B.
Yeah us 1500 aev'ers are just sluming it over here, while those 2500 and 3500 aev"ers just livng it up. It's OK though, I just bought some ditch light mounts from SDHQ. Should have the mounts this week. Then I'll be ready to install all my lighting for the truck.

Nice, let us know if you see any performance and or mpg increases.

Rear Fog Lamps: I had finished wiring (loosely) and dry tested everything yesterday. Finished the job today, routing harness/wiring etc. and even helped tie up what appeared to be loose OEM cables under the tailgate; some may have been loosened during 60" Putco tailgate light installed by the dealer perhaps. I'm really pleased with the final results and hope they work and last a long time. Quite bright
I subsequently renamed MainFogs to FrontFogs

Looks good man. Congratulations, I will be starting my install this week.

Who ran a light?
I wish I could say that's what it was. But this was me at fault. Car in front of me at a u-turn didn't go when she should've and I was looking at oncoming traffic to determine my chance to pull out. Started letting my foot off the brake and looked ahead only to realize she hadn't gone and it was already too late
