What did you do to your AT4 today?

I received my black Factor55 Prolink however find it extends 2" beyond the Comeup Winch License Plate mount. What this means is either mounting the license plate as you've done above the winch or find a deep flip-up mount which I'm not able to locate. I'll won't use the Factor55 Prolink for now. You do a lot of offroading and will frquently use your winch, I won't.
There are several flip-up mounts that are designed to clear the Flatlink. I wrote one of them asking if their flip up would clear the Prolink, and they said it wouldn't, but I think they were assuming their bracket would be mounted behind the fairlead. The existing plate-bracket on the Come-up is already offset well forward, so a flip up that mounted to THAT wouldn't have to be offset by more than about 3/4". That's the solution I'm looking for, but it has to be clean and sturdy or I'll stick with the current fugly mount.

Or maybe I'll become a scofflaw when I retire and run no front plate at all. Nobody really cares what harmless old guys do, right? 😇

The Prolink extends almost 2" beyond existing plate bracket and any flip up will need to have a 2" offset. Another thing, a suitable flip up mount even if available would offset too far off the bumper and become a hazard for walking across the front when parked. Even the existing mount is a slight hazard to me when parked in my garage and I can just about tolerate it.

At this point just put that sumbitch in your front windshield and call it a day lol. The risk vs reward of your truck looking badass is worth it.

The truck looks badass for sure, even more so when I finish installing front and rear fog lamps; fronts are done even though it was a little challenging with winch motor extending out into each side, still have a few cosmetics to complete for a final clean front bumper; the powerful Diode Dynamics Stage Series Pro LED Pods, SAE Fog with Amber Backlight look nice, using my own add-on wifi/alexa voice/or touch screen triggered backlight and main beam switches. Will post pics when done. Next is install rear Baja Design fogs with AEV brackets which I also have ready to install followed by hood led strip lighting, all useful stuff.

Think my rough country pod lights will work for the front aev bumper. Just need to figure out how to mount them, and how to remove the panel blocking the hole.
I tried this on my AEV, Im told there are sensors behind those on the 1500's that only the 2500 AEV's can have those, tell me If I was told wrong

The Foctor55 Flatlink may be the best overall solution for you. Most of the flip-up plate mounts easily clear flatlinks and they have their own integrated rubber pad that protects the fairlead and prevents rattling. The only downside is the winch line is exposed, as it is with the OEM hook. (I live in Oregon where drugs of every kind are everywhere and property crime is crazy. I occasionally have to visit near Portland and Eugene. Both of those places are now drug-infested property crime centers where homeless meth-monkeys damage and steal things all day every day. As a group, they are lazy and stupid, but if they can see a rope to cut the hook/link will be gone.) I have seen a small protective plate that mounts to the Flatlink to protect the line, but I couldn’t find one large enough to fit the link for the 5/8” line or I probably would have gone that route.

My winch is at an angle so it’s not the solution for me, but with the keatz hook/fair lead and an Amazon LP flip bracket you can make it appear pretty clean imo.

In channel Vent visors this past weekend and Zone level kit with 5100s today. I also added Bora 3/8" spacers to increase clearance on UCAs. Pics to follow....

Won't work. There is a brace behind the vents for the bumper. Looks like ditch light mounts until AEV comes out with a bull bar add on for the AEV bumper.

My 2500HD AEV must be different and here lights can be installed in the gap to the right/left of tow hooks since there's ready space available; mine was a little challeging following winch install, however I was prepared and it looks about as perfect as it can be. As stated earlier, I finished the install and need to put a couple of cosmetic touches to it before publishing pics. Very little light if at all is blocked by the tow hooks, don't even notice it.

I just ordered the baja Designs lights and AEV rear bumper mounts for mine. I'm just going with the hood ditch light mounts for the front, with a duel row 40 inch light bar behind the front grill. Already have all the lights for the front from my 2015 Silverado i traded in. So might as well use them.

I'll work on the rears install later today if I have time. I have to polish my balls later, I mean Bowling Balls :), I go bowling across the border to Whiterock, BC every Friday.
