Never seen the morimotos but I’m not sure how much brighter lights can get, those VLEDS are CRAZY bright.Anyone compare the Morimoto Vs Vled back to back to see which is brighter?

Daisy chain as much as you like. Silicone grease doesn't hurt a thing on the connection.I just got the VLED LPX lights, but i already have a different harness plugged into the trailer for the Kicker system. Do i daisy chain them or do i have to return the vLEDs?
I just looked into deciding which to buy. The Vleds page says 2500LM. I bet a person would see 550LM difference. I went with the Morimotos, anyway.I believe the Morimotos are at 1950 lumens and the VLEDS at 2000. I went with the Morimotos as I doubt I will notice that 50 lumen difference.
Dang! You're right. I just noticed I was browsing the LPX, not the R. I agree, 550 sounds more noticeable than 50. Oh well, you got the Morimoto too. We'll both always wonder...I just looked into deciding which to buy. The Vleds page says 2500LM. I bet a person would see 550LM difference. I went with the Morimotos, anyway.
What color are the wires you tap into?Yeah, popped out the left rear taillight and tapped into the reverse light.

They are not. It comes with a T splice to tap into tail light wires. Think you can purchase the harness that uses your trailer hitch for the LPX to avoid any wire tapping. There are also a bunch of videos showing the process. Are the Morimotos plug and play? I bought the LPX a while ago and have been back and forth with them to splice this bitch up and really don't feel like the extra bs.
I also have the LPX and used the T tap to splice into the taillight wires. I had a conversation with someone (maybe in this thread) about which wires I tapped into. I know for sure one of them was light green. Are the Morimotos plug and play? Awesome and no issues?I also have the LPX and used the T tap to splice into the taillight wires. I had a conversation with someone (maybe in this thread) about which wires I tapped into. I know for sure one of them was light green.
I wish I could. I did it last year and never thought to take a picture. One was definitely light green. I wanna say the other was black. If we scroll through this thread, I had the same discussion with someone else and they posted which wires they tapped into.Awesome and no issues?
Disregard the above. Can you describe exactly which wires were T tapped? Thanks!
Found the review on the Morimoto website that I used to install. Light green wire for positive and black wire for ground. Haven't had any issues with it since install.Awesome and no issues?
