Venom Trucks Amber Switchback DRL Kit (Promo Code)

Any chance you can get a picture of the connection in question?
I took about 30 photos up in there, but the two I have attached are the only ones that really depict the connector. It is really tight in there.
I have found several other connectors on the vehicle that are identical to the Venom connector, but this one that plugs into the back of the light housing is unique. There is no black button to depress. I was hoping to play around with another connector on the vehicle like this one that is easy to access, but all of the others are like the one on the pigtail.

Are both sides the same? My guess would be the black piece is actually broken off. But if both sides are identical then maybe that’s wrong. All of the replacement harnesses I see online for the 24 Yukon look like they should have that black piece to depress.

I am about 99% sure that the black part is not broken off. I have found other connectors on the vehicle that are identical to the Venom connector and this one is different in several ways. I did not have time to mess around with this today, but I will be back on it tomorrow. I have never touched the passenger side connector with a tool, so I will try to get a pic of that one before I do anything else.
I greatly appreciate your feedback!

OK, I finally got this done. Once I figured out how the connector released it took me less than two minutes to install both of them. I have attached a better photo of the connector, because someone else is going to need it. The black square “behind” the red thumb slide is the release on this connector. It is tricky to release, because as you press down on the button, your finger tends to push the red thumb slide forward.
The amber DRLs on the black vehicle look amazing.

I am not convinced something is not partially broken on yours, or at least different than mine/others.

on mine the red tab slides forward under a black tab that saddles the red slide lock. when slide lock is forward it does not allow the black saddle to be depressed releasing the connector . when it is slid back it allows it to be depressed. on yours it looks to be missing, meaning it would make it harder, as yiou would have to depress the black plastic pieces on both sides of the red lock when pulled back.

For awhile I thought I broke the black tab off of the connector too, which why I pressed like the dickens on the red square where the black tab should be. I never tried the passenger side connector until I finally released the driver side, and they are both the same.
I had found several install videos online, and they all have the connector like yours, but all of the videos were for the Sierra and Silverado. This connector may be unique to the Yukon and possibly the Suburban.
The red thumb slide on my connector is substantially larger/thicker and it has three ridges for better gripping the slide. Also the black release button at the rear makes the connector overall just a little bit longer.

Mine doesn't have the black tab on it either. I was able to take a skinny square screwdriver, lay it across the red tab and slide it right out after a 1/2 hour trying to figure it out. My connector was in the rear of my truck for my tail lights.
 .

Mine looks like the one Clarkely posted. https://www.at4forum.com/attachments/light-connector-plug-webp.28987/

Good customer support with them as well - mine worked great for a couple months and then i had an issue with them with hyper flashing and one staying lit - sent out corrections very quickly! hoping no further issues ;0

Mine came in and out very easy, after pulling back red tab, you press the black tab down (pinching it) if you listen while pinching you can hear the tab "click" once you hear that releasing is fairly easy with moderate force, if you don't hear the click it hasn't been released. - that is on a 2025 HD connector.

Rut roh... I secured my relays to the shrink tubes with zip ties. Maybe that'll save them from banging around/going bad? 🤷. I can't even enjoy mine. Truck is in body shop for weeks now.
