Sounds like you won't need the boost auto kit anymore. Venom is the new boost auto!will it be compatable with the boost Auto fender lights? and or can we splice control wires into their fender lights? cause i will want this![]()
not if you want the full fender light, smoked and sequential signals on the fender lights - then the boost auto light is a nice product!Sounds like you won't need the boost auto kit anymore. Venom is the new boost auto!

Awesome - cant wait to order!!Yes, it will be compatible with those.
Would there be any sort of discount for those of us who just recently bought the current Amber DRL kit? I would love the new full time kit but I just purchased the 'old' version in the middle of July....To answer a few questions, the full time Amber kit will be available for 1500 trucks, 2500 trucks, and the canyon. We're targeting a preorder to begin in 2-3 weeks with those shipping mid-late November. The Sierra 2500 and the canyon will be a bit different install due to the fender lights and how GM has them wired. Customers won't need our GMC auto Amber kit with the full time Amber kit, we're not sure which kit will be done first but all testing is complete and this has been a 1 year research development and field testing. It will be a completely new kit. I tend to forget about forums, we will be launching further details on our Facebook page when we are ready to release them. View attachment 31651
Having a hard time unplugging the driver side plug to head light. Only room for one hand. Pulled the red tab lock, trying to press down and pull out but not pulling out. Loosened up the wheel well liner allowing me to reach in. Any ideas would be great. ThanksInstalled the Venom Trucks Amber Switchback DRL Kit and the front end is looking awesome.
Simple upgrade, love the look.
If you’re interested, they hooked me up with a promo code so grab a kit at venomtrucks.com and use promo code “northwest10” to save 10%.
My hunch is you’re not getting the button pressed down far enough. Could also be that the red tab isn’t pulled back far enough. Thanks for help. The passenger went better than the drivers do to access around the plug at the light. I walked away from the drivers side more than once after trying to press after sliding the red tab. I did finally hear the click and it pulled off. All is connected now and works in Amber DRL.My hunch is you’re not getting the button pressed down far enough. Could also be that the red tab isn’t pulled back far enough. Here is a link to a visual:
Awesome if it is out - Where do you see the "full time Amber kit" i see the auto kit, but not the full time kit on the websiteJust ordered the full amber on kit for gmc hd. Says it shipped already. Could have sworn I read that it wouldn't be shipping for weeks.![]()

it will work with what you have, but it wont be amber drl at night - i believe the Full Kit will achieve that![]()

I am thinking you got the wrong one - i could be wrong..... I wiseman once told me you spend money everyday and you make money everyday......as long as you are making more than you spend, it wont matter as much what you buy![]()
Ahhhhaaa the night kit is what's still in development. That makes sense. Now I'm hesitant to install this if another kit is coming, although I'm thinking that next one will be something I can add in. Maybe it's bypassing the light sensor.it will work with what you have, but it wont be amber drl at night - i believe the Full Kit will achieve that
That Wiseman lives in my head. He's telling me to pull the trigger on the supercharger that's been in my cart for about a year now. Just finished a large project, so I may listen!![]()

the full on kit will not need the DRL switchback we already have installed - the auto on will need the DRL switchback we already have installed to do the daytime drl ambers - from what i understand of what they have out and what is coming out....Ahhhhaaa the night kit is what's still in development. Maybe it's bypassing the light sensor.I'm going to be running wiring for an airbag compressor, so might as well just install it. Goes from back fender lights to front.
