Software updates

Not sure if this helps but on my print out it says 2810195 Instrument cluster reprogramming with SPS UDV . 9
I have no idea what that means. I hope it helps some of you that can't get the update. It's crazy how we are all told different things from "certified technicians". I think the issue is, these technicians don't do any more than they have to and have no problem solving skills like 98 percent of the population.

I sent my tech exactly what you posted and here is his response .

“.9 is the labor, reprogramming with sps is the gm tool... they would still need a bulletin or program number to implement...”

“Hold on im talking to him... that first number is a labor op code which i believe he can use...”

So they brought the truck back in and tried to work on the instrument cluster again with the new information that Rocky provided (thank you!) and it still did NOT update the start up screen to AT4X.

On the way to pick it up now . This is pretty frustrating .

Thanks for the help from all trying to solve

That's frustrating. It's out there. In the notes on the invoice it says " found updated calibrations for instrument cluster module"
Also " update ipc calibrations "
Not sure if any of that helps. That's everything under that item. The rest is warranty claim code and all my personal info.

This thread from the zr2 forum has similar stories . Apparently this labor code 2810195 is key to getting to the update . However not all dealership actually understand how to get the new graphics file.

Here is the cluster update they installed that was supposed to work . I think there is an extra step about finding a graphics file that they are missing.

Could you please post the name and number of the dealership you used please? I will call them direct and hand the phone to my local service advisor. Thanks!

Apparently the zr2 guys are getting over the air graphic updates for this startup animation issue . Happened last week to a member with a 2022.

Some things I've noticed about the new software update is the instrument panel icons are slightly different and the fuel iconomy is now "live" meaning as I accelerate it goes down and when I let off the gas it goes up in real time. Before it was just the average and barely changed in days time. Thought I'd mention these changes.

My '23 AT4X received an over-the-air update earlier today and now I have the AT4X graphic in the instrument cluster. My truck was built in October and it had the AT4 graphic prior to today's OTA update.

Maybe that will happen, cause I give up! Called Fox GMC, got no where, local guys, no where. Not meant to be for mine I reckon

So I was able to look up my visit when I had my software updated. The bulletin they used for my truck to perform the 5 updates on 3 modules was 23NA035 and the versions updated on the cluster was FDYZ161643504 and 60YY161643071, the updates for the radio was 80YZ161646274 and 80YZ161646408, and the update for the BCM was 40YY161650059.

The updates for the cluster fixed my issue with my fuel economy page reseting every time I drove the truck, BUT produced a side affect of the initelibeam (auto brights) having to be turned on every time I drive the truck and the automatic lights come on. The updates for the radio fixed an issue that I was having with the radio always switching the audio to CarPlay every time I asked Siri to do something. Now these updates weren't necessarily for fixing those specific things but fixed those issues that I was having as the dealership didn't know what the updates fixed just that there was some and offered to apply them to see if it fixed my main issue of the fuel economy page not remember my fuel economy for the last 25, 50, 450 miles.

Hope this info can help some of you out there.

When you guys click "check for updates" what does it show for the android security patch level? Mine shows October of 2021... That's even after the updates I had done at dealership last week. Curious if mines more outdated than everyone else's.
