Thank You for info! Sadly, that is almost exactly what I was told. It would appear the newer trucks have the “x”, us who bought early are outta luck. Thanks GM,I just went into Steele GMC in round rock this morning (for scheduled oil change) and also asked them to update to AT4X within instrument cluster.
They were not able to update it .
After they were done with the oil change they called me and said my truck has all the latest software for the cluster and everywhere else in vehicle. We had a good conversation about it and genuinely believe they were trying .
They asked if I had a service bulletin or any other documentation to track it down as they have not been able to find anything GMC has said about it .
Where have you seen this documented ?View attachment 3389
Hope this helps mine has been this way since I picked up the truck but the updates says it fixes this for people who’s only say AT4
That is great news . Can you upload a copy of your invoice ? Perhaps it shows the actual service code performed ? Any proof I can show to dealer would be helpful.Soo, I just left dealership and they updated my instrument cluster... It now has the X. I have the 22 model at4x.
