New 2023 AT4X let the mods begin!

Most of these mufflers like the one I bought are classed more as universal fit.
The things to look for when searching for what you need for any car or truck, is pipe size, and how the pipe enters and exits.
There were 3 versions of the Corsa muffler that I purchased. Offset enter and exit, offset enter center exit, which is what I needed, or a Center enter center exit. Which given the amount of space there is to work with once that large OEM muffler is removed, I am pretty sure about any of them could have been made to work center enter center exit I am sure would have worked as well on my truck. The one I chose was one that pretty much matched with how the OEM muffler had its enter and exit plumbed, that was why I chose the one I did. All will be shorter and need plumbed in with additional pipe.

Yes, I believe most of the mufflers are universal fit. I also need the same offset muffler as you - inlel offset, outlet center. As far as the piping size, 3" diameter is what I measured when I was under my truck, and was likely the same on yours.

Yes, 100% correct, 3” pipe is what used.

Drove the truck around running errands for an hour or so this evening. Listening for drone, not detecting anything.
The DFM really is more noticeable now. The L9 trans trick seems to take care of defeating the DFM.
‘Also played around with using tow mode and that seemed to help with odd shifting and stumbling I had been getting in the lower gears starting off from a full stop. I think in normal mode in D, take off from a dead stop feels like the truck takes off in 1st, and then skips to 3rd or 4th creating a drop off or lunge as it struggles a bit to get going.
Tow mode seems to help that, L9 takes care of DFM, and pressing that start stop button fixes that. Lol

I guess I am learning tricks and also getting more use to how to force this truck drive and sound like I want or like it too.

Good news on the no drone!

DFM would be more noticeable with a more aggressive exhaust. I know the L9 trick worked on mine for that, but with the stock muffler, even with the flapper valve now clamped open, it isn't enough helicoptering to even notice unless going slow in town with the stereo off and really trying to listen for the DFM kicking in.

I wondered if tow mode wouldn't help with lowering the shift points some, or evening them out. Makes sense that it would.

What are you referring to about "pressing the stop start button"?

Just the start stop cancel button on the dash, getting use to pushing it every time I get in, rather then cussing when it dies at the first stop light. Lol

Ahh, got it and makes sense. I am used to pushing that button the off position, pretty much first thing I do when I start the truck. Not a fan of the auto off at a stop light thing. It happens at just a stop sign, should have more of a delay IMO. Just find it a useless feature. There is probably data one can find online on how much fuel it could save, but I am skeptical. Also seems like more wear and tear on starters, etc, with the auto off thing.

L9 defeats auto start stop as well as DFM. So no need to push the button anymore .

I got my auto stop eliminator in the mail yesterday. Might try to install tomorrow if I have time or next week.

Yup print it out and laminate it so you can reuse the check offs lol

Hope to get my eliminator next week sometime.

Will do my truck is getting a ceramic coating this weekend and I won't get it back till Sunday afternoon and with the Super Bowl I don't know if I will have time. Plus we will see what the weather is like but I will keep everyone updated. I still need to get a new clip that I broke when I was adding my wireless charger
