Ordered a winch bumper from 589 Fabrication(6 week build time), Super Winch SX10SR, Reno billet aluminum shackles and winch hook.
I haven’t settled on lights yet. 589Fab says it’s designed for 2 Baja Designs LP6’s and 2 LP4’s. I just don’t know if I want to spend as much on 4 lights as the combined costs of the bumper and winch. I will probably go with a cheaper option.

I already posted this in someone else’s thread but it felt like I was hijacking it so Im posting here. So this is the 2nd rooftop tent I’ve ordered. There was a mixup with shipping with the first one. I was notified that it was delivered(I wasn’t there)but it was not and that was a whole thing. Anyways, I ordered a 2nd one, different than the 1st one and had it sent to my workshop in Iowa. This is the way it arrived. It seems only cosmetic. Im talking to the seller to see if maybe we can work something out or if it’s getting returned. I will let you know.

The plan is to finish getting my truck set up for an extended overland trip. I’m taking 3-4 months off work starting December 1 to unplug and decompress from a rough couple of years. I have no plans other than to spend a month beach camping on the gulf coast alone. After that, who knows? As long as it’s somewhere warm. Maybe Arizona

Ha I wish. A couple more years. I just have a really cool job that pays quite well and gives me 6 months a year off. Not too bad for a HS dropout 🫠
Zero debt, never married and no kid’s doesn’t hurt either.
