Since the above pics were taken, I also installed CCE extended rear shackles and Hyperco 1.5” front springs and tie rod sleeves. I also did a little plastic trimming

Holy cow, wished I lived somewhere the wind didn't blow! That would be awesome to camp under.
We’ll see how it goes when I’m on a Texas beach next week. I’m not real confident but I did get some corkscrew tent stakes for the sand.

"What in the wide, wide world of sports is going on around here?!?!" Man alive! You go, bro! I'm blown away by what people can do with a good platform, time, determination, and a pile of greenbacks!😎

@gemarsh and @Johnv76 plus a few others, inspired me with use of my pile of greenbacks! :ROFLMAO:

Yeah heavy on the greenbacks. I’m outta here today. I have a trip thread over in the camping section I will keep updated on my trip

I haven’t updated this thread in a while. Not much has changed other than some minor stuff. I’m still on the fence on getting rid of it and starting over. I have a 2025 Toyota Trail Hunter with a 6’bed ordered. Won’t have it for several months.
I have enjoyed this truck overall but there are a few things that I just don’t like enough to move on to something else. I’ve had it for a year now and it

has 36k on the odometer
I did add these IP68 rated led strips to the tent. I have been using these rechargeable string lights but it was so tedious to put them up and down at camp. These new lights are smartphone Bluetooth controllable and are fully addressable. They are RGBW which means they can do all the colors and have a separate soft white diode. They draw very little power. 10% brightness is plenty to light up camp at night and on full brightness it’s super bright.
