How crappy are Bose speakers!

Can you add a bass knob IF you wanted to? I purchased my sub from the dealership and it did not have the bass knob hole or the dip switches for adjustment on the amplifier. I called Kicker and they confirmed they had another supplier for amps and just use the equalizer in the radio for adjustments. Now I see folks that are getting these today have the knob system again.

During Covid years, Kicker had supply issues with their amps. That created a few years with the amp not having the dip switches and bass knob port.

I ordered mine last fall and they were back to using the their old amps with the dip switches and bass knob port.

Was unhappy with bose sound quality since purchase but am now pissed. Family currently in Seattle for daughters grad trip. We rented a car and loaded up in a ford escape. Turned on the radio and was instantly irked by the deep, clear bass it produced in the music played over the air. Literally put the 2024 AT4 sound system to shame. GM sucks balls it what the put in as a premium system for thier customers

I agree. I bought a Blaupunkt powered sub and installed it under my read drivers side seat. Way better! Into it for $130.

Shouldn’t have to though. Like you said, this is more of a premium truck. Make it so!
