No, no tax on tpms errors. I'm talking about Income tax. I can use tools/equipment as a tax write-off in my line of work.

Thanks for the reply. Definitely seems the rancho shocks are crap from everything I’ve read. I’m more than willing to shell out for new ones (Bilstein or others) if it’ll help. I’m just not sure what exactly new shocks will help with. Will it help dampen that bumpy ride in the back or is it mostly just going to help keep it more stiff on turns etc? That’s the part I don’t know enough about.

New shocks will definitely give you a better ride. I would do the UCA level while your at it. You said aren’t sure how it will help. Rancho shocks are bouncy and IMO dangerously loose. Bilstein will give you a better hwy ride over FOX. FOX does better at bumps. I prefer FOX but have Bilstein as FOX was way to expensive during the plandemic. There are also some other great shock brands out there too. Anything you choose will improve your ride 100%. It will be one of the best investments you make on your truck.

AT4 by nature is going to be a firmer ride…doing a level will make the ride even firmer.

IMO and you can do your research. If you off road I recommend FOX or something like them. Otherwise Bilstein is pretty inexpensive for quality.

Yes BUT IMO if doing it the new UCA helps too and you are already there. The ride overall is WAY better when doing some suspension adjustments. Side note. I just drove a friend’s Ford Rapture and that thing is amazing off road. But my AT4 is better on road. All that said if you want a Cadillac ride get a Denali with HWY tires and GM shocks its also 2plus inches lower.

Hey all! Just purchased a 2024 AT4 6.2L last week. So far I've been enjoying it for the most part. Most of my driving has been around town. However, my family and I took a short trip this weekend and the passengers in the back complained quite a bit about how bumpy of a ride it was. I also felt a little uncomfortable in the front but not terrible. I didn't ride in the back but my daughter said it was like constant little bumps even when we weren't on bumpy/bad roads.

I understand that an at4 isn't necessarily going to be the best in terms of ride comfort compared to an SUV (for example) but has anybody else had this complaint from family and been able to fix it? I see a lot of mention of new shocks (in particular Bilstein 5100) as helping the ride but very few explain what the complaint was before other than the back of the truck getting sideways and it doesn't seem like that's what my issue is. I'd like to hear from others that experienced a similar complaint as mine and if anything worked for them. I'd hate to trade it in already and lose my butt on what is basically a new vehicle if I can get it fixed but also don't want to put even more money in to it and not help resolve the issue.

Edit: Just wanted to add I did see the great write up at https://www.at4forum.com/threads/bilstein-5160-and-6112-shock-review-for-2023-at4.1563/ which says the ride is much better for them now but also it says the ride comfort is the same or a bit less than before so not sure the improved ride they are referring to will help in my situation. I'm not experienced enough to get the difference between ride quality and comfort.

I bought my AT4X with the intention of it being a 2-seater. The back seats are there for convenience, not comfort.
The front seats broke in nicely. Six months in, they are more comfortable than I remember them being the day I bought it.

If you want back seat comfort, buy a Genesis.

I dont know about anyone else but once I swapped out my bf goodrich tires with some nittos it was a while new ride with less vibration and irritation from the passenger seats.

When I have to replace my stock BFG KO3 I’m going back to KO2 if they are still available…I notice a big vibration difference between the.KO2 and KO3…something changed and not for the better.

I did a level plus a little extra, and Bilstein 5100s front and rear. Also went from 20" wheels to 17", tires set at 42psi. Truck rides much smoother now than it did stock.

So did the new shocks help? Did you do front and rears or just rears? I’m dealing with the bounciness also, had the tires road forced balance (or so they say) with no improvement. Wondering if you got your bounciness fixed? I feel like the rear is the problem.
