Fog lights or lack of light

I didn't have to take anything off, the adjustment is on the back of the fog light assembly. It's the same allen wrench that you use to adjust the headlights. If I remember correctly, it was a 6 MM.

The adjustments did make a difference from how they were from the factory. That being said, it wasn't like a holy $hit difference, but I could tell there was more light shining down the road and in the ditches this morning.
Thank you for this. I’ll try this when I get back into town.

For a truck this nice, you’d think they’d put legit fog lights on it that actually make a difference. The new 4Runner Trailhunter, for instance, come with Rigid’s that are dual color (white or amber at the press of a button), from the factory!

Update: on a 2024 1500, the adjustment screw is right next to the fog light itself on the front of the bumper. I forgot to take a pic, but I will.

I checked alignment on my OEM fog lights against my garage wall yesterday and they are perfect from factory and surprisingly need no adjustment.

Has anyone tried the Morimoto LED's? I'm thinking the 2-Stroke LED's for both low beam and fog light replacement. The fog lights are so small I'm not sure anything will work over adding larger lights as seen in this thread. I'm simply looking for fog lights that will light the ground right in front of me. I thought about adding new fog lights and running with the existing ones, then read in CA you can't run more than 4 forward facing lights at the same time. Rather not bring unnecessary attention to myself. I'll ignore the "All LED's from Morimoto are not legal for street use in the USA" part. Will adjust low enough to see what I need to and not blind cars in front of me. I'm good with the high beams.

Without a DOT/SAE approved light, that has a very distinct cutoff of the light beam, ANY off road light you use will cause major glare for oncoming drivers. You can’t aim them low enough typically to prevent this. Which is why you see people with grill light bars that even though they’re aimed low, they still blind oncoming drivers. Just something to consider.

Good point. So far, all LED companies I've searched don't list any light options for 2024 2500HD. Anyone found any that do?

Diode Dynamics released these recently. They are on my to do list.

I need to read about these; will they fit a 1500 with the AEV bumper? I have a good friend that works for Diode here in St. Louis. I’ll ask him if I cannot find the info.
They should fit the AEV bumper only. They will not fit the OEM GMC bumper with the square fog lights. I ordered mine the first day they came out and they should ship out on the 27th. Once I install them I will provide pics and advice. I already posted about this here. Please note, I do not know if these will fit the 2500's. I think Diode Dynamics said this was for the 1500's.

Thanks. I emailed my buddy at Diode about these. Following your other thread!

My buddy from Diode Dynamics sent this fitment list from their website; Foxbeams makes the brackets, Diode makes the lights.

He also confirmed that since the 2022+ 1500 AT4X only comes with the AEV bumper, that they are made for that bumper only (on the 1500).

Good info bud, thank you.

Interesting, still thinking if I need these since I have SS3 SAE Yellow Pro Fog with Amber Backlight
installed on my front 2500HD AT4X AEV bumper. Beam pattern is perfect and I usually switch them on day and night. At night the beam lights up both sides of the road and SAE Fog pattern, whilst not blinding oncoming traffic.

I remain jealous that those lights fit into your AEV bumper on the 2500!!
