You doWith stock bose system depending on music genre I have to turn up the volume to 3/4 to full to hear any type of thump! Hoping with the kicker I won’t have to go that high on the volume scale lol
Kicker speakers u say? Made by GM? Where do they sell them? GM accessories book?I just received my kicker sub last Friday. It is new and the new units have the sub control jack. I purchased the controller separately. I also replaced all the bose speakers with premium kicker speaker made for GM and HUGE difference in sound. Yes there is a break in period too.
I said made FOR not by. Specifically FOR GM vehicles. Crutch field, Amazon etc. they are higher end speakers and they are very nice.Kicker speakers u say? Made by GM? Where do they sell them? GM accessories book?

I was impressed with these(door)speakers because they came with exact hardware for my truck. Crutchfield sent their adapter stuff but it was not necessary. I used a different tweeter set up I found from a guy on line but you had to modify them.
These compliment the sub perfectly. These are FOR GM and others NOT made by them.
Is the knob really necessary to use the sub? Or can you get away without it?Here is a picture of control knob mount. I used 3M tape to mount it. Go with the higher end KS speakers or above CS are nice but quality IMO is better in their higher end product View attachment 7714
It's not necessary but I'm wondering if we can squeeze more response out of the sub with the knob.Is the knob really necessary to use the sub? Or can you get away without it?
Any chance you could take a pic of where the bass control knob jack is on the amp? Here is a picture of control knob mount. I used 3M tape to mount it. Go with the higher end KS speakers or above CS are nice but quality IMO is better in their higher end product View attachment 7714
Probably not. I will try but it’s pretty tight. There are pictures on the web. Its same spot as the power for the amp.Any chance you could take a pic of where the bass control knob jack is on the amp?
Oh definitelyIt's not necessary but I'm wondering if we can squeeze more response out of the sub with the knob.
