Mine is sitting in Mexico as well. Built on the first week of June and has been sitting in Mexico ever since. Emailed Ms. Barra with no answer. Get the same run around from GMC chat. FML.
I’ve thought the same thing. I’ve found similar enough builds around here come in, but the second I buy, my dealer will call saying my trucks on its wayI’m going on 13 weeks built and sitting in Ohio. I’m strongly considering just getting a ZR2. A Chevy dealer near me has three in transit. This has just gotten beyond ridiculous at this point. I just know the minute I pull the trigger my truck will show up.
Congrats. At least someone is getting their truckNew update. My truck has been sitting for the past three weeks 5 hours away and the rail yard. I finally received a call from the dealership today and I will be picking it up Saturday. Fingers crossed.
Hey bud, keep pushing them. I’m not sure if I was next on the list or if my threats to cancel the order worked (I didn’t think they’d care) but somehow I was able to get my truck completed and shipped this week. No clue where it is still or an ETA and the dealer can’t even track it but I at least also got the GM email saying it was on the way.For those with the same build week as me or around 5/30, I received a call from the executive resolution team with an update. They are still waiting on a chip. I figured that was done and they were just behind in shipping but nope. So truck built after our are getting delivered. 12 weeks sitting waiting on a chip is ridiculous. My guess is they aren’t coming anytime soon. She also told me it’s the chip that controls all the trucks settings from the from the screen so it’s not even like it can be retrofitted.
That’s awesome. Hopefully it shows up for you soon. There’s just no rhyme or reason to anything they are doing. I’m going to look at two ZR2s tomorrow. Not sure I’ll pull the trigger but I’m giving a hard deadline on Oct 1 for my truck.Hey bud, keep pushing them. I am setting at week 13 of being built and waiting for parts (I am assuming chips). I get the canned weekly email saying the truck was produced waiting on shipping. For those with the same build week as me or around 5/30, I received a call from the executive resolution team with an update.
