2022 Refresh Order Experience

Same, mine is still in Mexico waiting on electronics. I actually ordered 2. The first I cancelled after the dealer made me nervous that they wouldn't get the order right and wouldn't try to sell it to me for over MSRP when it did arrive. Well that one was produced anyway and that dealer contacted me about a month ago to let me know it came in. Asked if I was interested. I said send me the build sheet to see what came in. It was not what I ordered unfortunately but glad I didn't wait for it without putting it the second order. They were ordered a week apart and actually I think the second dealer had the earlier allocation so it's a bummer that is the one I am still waiting on.

I’m going on 13 weeks built and sitting in Ohio. I’m strongly considering just getting a ZR2. A Chevy dealer near me has three in transit. This has just gotten beyond ridiculous at this point. I just know the minute I pull the trigger my truck will show up.

I’ve thought the same thing. I’ve found similar enough builds around here come in, but the second I buy, my dealer will call saying my trucks on its way 😂.

New update. My truck has been sitting for the past three weeks 5 hours away and the rail yard. I finally received a call from the dealership today and I will be picking it up Saturday. Fingers crossed.

Congrats. At least someone is getting their truck

For those with the same build week as me or around 5/30, I received a call from the executive resolution team with an update. They are still waiting on a chip. I figured that was done and they were just behind in shipping but nope. So truck built after our are getting delivered. 12 weeks sitting waiting on a chip is ridiculous. My guess is they aren’t coming anytime soon. She also told me it’s the chip that controls all the trucks settings from the from the screen so it’s not even like it can be retrofitted.

Hey bud, keep pushing them. I’m not sure if I was next on the list or if my threats to cancel the order worked (I didn’t think they’d care) but somehow I was able to get my truck completed and shipped this week. No clue where it is still or an ETA and the dealer can’t even track it but I at least also got the GM email saying it was on the way.

That’s awesome. Hopefully it shows up for you soon. There’s just no rhyme or reason to anything they are doing. I’m going to look at two ZR2s tomorrow. Not sure I’ll pull the trigger but I’m giving a hard deadline on Oct 1 for my truck.

I am setting at week 13 of being built and waiting for parts (I am assuming chips). I get the canned weekly email saying the truck was produced waiting on shipping.

I may also go into another dealership and build a 23 and see what happens. Don’t want to pay the increased price though.

Do you happen to know what your trucks actual build date was?

I just wanted to say Thanks for all of you who share information here. I ordered my truck in March and it was built the week of 5-30 and is part of the 95k GM vehicles built without required chips and parked. The intent was to keeping GMs plants running and there seems to be no plan (at least one GM will share with customers) to fit the vehicles with the missing chips. I haven't seen a post or information from anyone who had a AT4 built in June, from the Mexico plant take delivery. If there is someone please let us know, it would provide some hope. I check this page often for any new info and enjoy reading what people are doing to get there trucks from escalating there issues with GM to emailing GMs CEO. Keep it up and let us know if something works.

It’s official the wait is over and the truck is in my driveway. I ordered it on April 30th, received it today September 3 rd.
