2022 Refresh Order Experience

I’ve received conflicting messages with Gmc chat. Yesterday they told me my vehicle was accepted awaiting production. Later went back and asked for the code and someone else told me it was preliminary accepted. My dealer is telling me that if it’s not going to the line in the next week, they will probably start pushing the trucks to the 23 model year.

Mine had a TPW of 5/30 and is in event code 4200 = shipped on train! Not to brag but you asked :). Hope yours moves soon!

also I got this info from texting GMC not the online chat. +1 (800) 462-8782
Happy to hear some scheduled for 5/30 are being completed.

For those who have already received their trucks about how long until truck is dilevered after hitting event code 3800 “vehicle produced, vin available”

Happy to hear some scheduled for 5/30 are being completed.
I think there is a major lag in the time between the truck being produced and the time the chat can provide updated information. On Tues afternoon my truck was still at 3400 and less than 48 hrs later it’s 4300. I wouldn’t be surprised if yours is built and it’s just not updated yet.

Just got my VIN. Thankfully mine was built in FT Wayne. Hoping that makes transit time quicker. Hope you guys get more info soon. Hoping your got built in FT Wayne as well.
I'm not sure any more though about quality of US vs Mexico automobiles. Mine was built in Mexico and is currently on a train somewhere. I am all about supporting the American worker, but there's a little bit of laziness that has set in here, not to mention UAW union protection of the low performers. Mexico on the other hand, those guys work their asses off or get fired!

Be interesting to see some tracking on here of these trucks and their issues vs. where they were made! Anyone want to start up that thread?!

Honestly my only thought about FT Wayne was the shipping time would be faster.

Being built in Mexico definitely has delivery time implications. My truck was built 2 months ago :/ Still don't have it.

Hi im new here! I must of got lucky. I've been truck shopping for a few months (back and forth between gmc sierra at4 and Toyota tundra hybrid 1794) I inquired with one of my local dealers about a at4 last week but told it was reserved. Asked about the same color I wanted on a at4x and surprisingly it was available and due in on the 20th of this month. Put my deposit down and now just waiting. The truck was in Jacksonville about 4 hours away so I am hoping the truck may arrive early.

Today mine was produced, at event code 3800, built in Ft Wayne. I have the VIN but no ETA for delivery. Happy that it should arrive sooner than the ones built in mexico.

Gm chat said they couldn’t tell me where mine was just that it was in transit. Still at 4300
