2022 Refresh Order Experience

I see my truck may not come with steering column lock. Anyone else receive one like this? I'm assuming that just means the wheel wiggles when the truck is off? Any long term concerns with this? Looks like it will NOT be retrofitted.
Yep same here...Not a big deal to me.

My ordered AT4 arrived at the dealership today. I go Wednesday to see it. My only concern now are the interest rates. The initial quote sheet they sent me has like 12% interest rate. I’m not paying any where even close to that. Not even half. So I may be sticking with my 2016 if they don’t work with me.

I wonder how many months it’s for.. it’s weird they don’t advertise it. If it’s 72 months I’m game.
I walked out of the dealership Sat with a 2022 AT4 3.0 Duramax and fully optioned. Through GM financing I got 4.2% APR and I have pretty darn good credit at 829. I asked about any special financing options and the salesman basically said he gave me the best rate possible.

So I have no clue who "well qualified buyers" are supposed to be considering I have pretty damn good credit and didnt qualify 🤷🏻‍♂️

My dealer agreed to charge me MSRP as long as I finance with them. If they try and hit me with a 4.2% APR i'll take it, walk out the door, and refinance it. I'm also 800+ credit score. I wonder if they have a prepayment penalty though...

I also saw the 0% ads but that's always 3 year terms.

What other rates have you guys who just received yours been getting from GM? Just curious for a larger sample pool.

Received GM email yesterday that my 3.0 truck is getting built right now. Dealer called today and said the same. However, they had zero clue about when it would be delivered. I asked about missing options and they said that if it doesn’t come with anything from factory, they’ll retrofit later under warranty essentially.

Regarding financing, the dealer is always a rip off but especially now. Navy Federal Credit Union is offering less than 3% for 72 months.

USAA was at 2.29% but I just checked and they are at 2.69% now up to 84 months. FTN, I want to pay this thing off soonish...I'm hoping to get the three year term with GMC for 0%. I've got cash but at 0% hell yeah I'll hang onto my money. I think currently says delivery by 7/5/22 IIRC. Dealer told me today mine is built and shipped but not sure on the specifics yet. Was starting to think I may have to wait for a 2023 which I was going to have to reassess. Once I figure out delivery cost I'll have to decide full delivery to CA or send it to TX and go visit my family that just moved there and have it dropped at their place. With the price of diesel driving it out from near San Antonio is still going to be kinda spendy.

Just got off the phone with the dealer. Said about 2 weeks for my truck to be here. Going to start checking out what interest rates are out there with credit unions. How much down are you guys putting? I'm going with 10k.

Has anyone been able to claim price protection from their dealer? I have a signed build order for a specific price, but my dealer said the final price will depend upon what the MSRP is when it comes in. There have been a few price increases since I ordered in March and I want to make sure I pay what we agreed to.
