What did you do to your AT4 today?

Not saying this is your case, but the most common reason for that (2nd to just forgetting to latch it) is using a 1 7/8" ball with a 2" coupler. It works until the slightest amount of coupler wear, which happens fast with the wrong size ball, then starts popping off....well, just once.... A friend of mine owns a trailer dealership and repair shop.

Sierras have long had the boxy wheel wells. It is this that causes the rub with bigger tires. Obviously sticking with a stock positive offset is going to make a huge difference in what size tires will fit.

I don't feel I lost much of the DSSV ride with the front level or airbags. Some, sure, but not a lot. It still rides a lot nicer than my 2020 AT4 did (and it's not like the 2020 was bad or anything), and my wife has a 2020 AT4 carbon pro, and my X still rides nicer than hers.

I don't like trimming, but it is worth it to me to fit the offset wheel and tire size I prefer. No one else would even know, unless I showed them or they looked real close, that there is some trimming done. My biggest worry is always - does this or can this, void my factory warranty. Which may depend a lot on the dealer and shop one takes their truck to.
Throw some Fox 2.5 adjustable coil overs on your wife's AT4 and she will have the better ride ;-)

Hers is a little light in the rear end since it is a carbon pro (just my personal opinion on how the carbon pro rides). And no, it doesn't ride quite as nice as my 23 AT4X, but these are trucks, and hers rides fine. I had no idea about the new shocks on the AT4X until I got mine, but have to admit they are nice. Not nice enough to warrant spending a K or 2K on new shocks for my wife's truck though... lol.

It is a roller coaster ride with her on her truck, and by that I mean, one day she will blurt out "I am keeping my truck forever", the next day she is asking me to find her a new Tahoe/Yukon/Burb. Literally one extreme to the other, lol. So I am not inclined to dump any $ into her truck, which is still a very nice truck. But she might decide she wants trade it tomorrow, depending on her mood!

Get her a yukon at4 lol my wife has one and it has air suspension with the magnetic ride. It’s pretty floaty but super smooth with the independent suspension.

On one of the many times we have taken a ride to a dealership to look at a Yukon/Tahoe/Burb, we did drive one with the mag ride. But the interior color and the exterior color were not to her liking.

The roller coaster ride of what she wants to do with her truck is never ending, although the last few months I have heard less of "I'm keeping my truck forever" or "can you online search some dealerships to see if they have any SUV's (GM only) I would like?". Seeing as at times we can have up to 6 kids to haul around, a Burb or Yukon+ would have been better for her than her truck. But I am done doing the yo-yo roller coaster ride on this, lol.

Put this on yesterday! Love it! RSI Smartcap Sport.

Looks durable and modern. I like it. Trying not to be a dick but does it have any unique features for just a better looking design? I see the side windows open, thats nice.
I have the basic Sport model. There are other models that offer quite a bit more with regards to add-on's (modular attachments such as camp stove, table stowage, drawers, etc.). Pretty cool innovations from this company.
