What did you do to your AT4 today?

Finished adding my bed rack from ADARAC and my TOPOAK 270 degree awning. Ready for tailgating and trips to the beach/trails. My wife was ecstatic and said time to get more camping stuff now. I flipped her to the dark side of mods!

My AT4 came with just very blan puddle lights, no insignia, just bulbs. I replaced them 2 years ago with the GMC emblem ones and thought that was pretty cool. Seems since that time, several aftermarket manufacturers have brought new types to the market. Donslife YT channel did a review of these from BadgeBeam and I loved the multicolor 3D design.

They offer custom designs, but currently only in white. They are working on 2 color custom availability

Lucky you!! I don't even discuss my mods with my wife; she'd frown :)

Is that a tent on top of the truck too or just a big awning? Does it detach if you need to go get supplies or do you have to pack it all back in to leave?

It is an awning only. They make a wall kit to enclose the set up. The poles fold into the canopy. All arms fold into themselves and then into the bag on the rack. I can have it fully open in less than 30sec. Packing up maybe 2 mins.

I traded my AT4 a few days ago. I loved that truck, but was concerned that one way or another GM was going to screw me on the 6.2 recall.
I got a trade in which was 1K less that I paid for it a year ago. I was going to take my chances, but saw an add where a dealer was selling a few new 2025 6.2 Denali crew cabs at employee pricing. I also got a $2750 purchase allowance, $1K bonus cash, and $3K trade assistance also.
I couldn’t resist, so I jumped on it.
The AT4 was one of the nicest truck I ever had besides the Ford King ranch, which I traded when diesel was $5/ gallon. I had, at he same time an F250 Ford work truck, which was also a diesel. It was crazy spending the money on fuel for both, being as my work involved driving 20K miles annually.
If the new truck wasn’t so nice, I prob would have buyers remorse.
I have enjoyed reading all the posts on this forum, but sometime in the weeks to come, I will more than likely drop out.
Good luck to everyone who is involved in the recall. I hope the situation gets resolved in the near future and so no one gets screwed, or suffers from major inconveniences from it.

Speaking of recall stuff, I just stumbled across this facebook ad for a used 6.2 with a replacement engine from the dealer where I got my truck. They replaced the engine under warranty and are now selling it used. Even using the new engine and revised warranty as a selling point I guess ha. Maybe it's common now, but it made me chuckle.

Just finished some modifications on my 25 AT4. After reading a few posts on this forum, I decided to go with Bilstein all around. Installed the 6112's up front along with the Ready Lift 1.75" Level kit with Upper Control arms. On the rear, installed 5160's along with Ready Lift's Load Leveling Kit (Bags) with the Air Lift WirelessOne 2nd Gen Pump. Then 285/60R20 Toyo Open Country A/T III's on Method 323's (20"X9" +12mm) in Gloss Bronze. Finally, I topped off the bed with a Diamond Back HD Cover and installed AMP electric running boards with manual override switch and LED upgrades

Bilstein's are a little stiff, but the truck handles night a day better than before.

That's exactly what's going to happen now. Salesman are not going to correct the false impression of a full 10 year/150k engine warranty. That warranty is only for the specific internal parts of the recall.

Looks great! How much height did you gain up front? Looks pretty level, did you do anything to the lift in the rear? Any rubbing with your setup?
