What did you do to your AT4 today?

Gave it a good hose down after over 4,000 miles of highway towing a 7,000lb Toy Hauler... then scheduled it for repair now that it's leaking oil around the engine pan.

The babymax is known for rear main seal leaks. Guess it wasn't enough of a concern for gm, if'n they didn't redesign anything for the problem on the LZ0.

Glad to read you made it safely back home.

Yes, we made it home safely, thank goodness it didn't have something catastrophic on the way, but it's also leaking at the front of the motor, so who knows what the time table will be for them to fix it. I have family in town next week and we need this truck to haul everyone.

How did she handle the weight of the trailer?
Flawlessly, this truck tows like a champ, also just before the trip I installed Bilstein 5100's Front and Rear at max height of 1.1" of lift in the front removing the 2" spacer lift that the PO installed.

4,000+ Miles, averaged 12-13 MPG, towing across states with 80 MPH speed limits in most areas, I had to use the cruise control to keep it at 75 because the truck wanted to haul at 80 easily. The tires on this trailer are only rated to 75.

With a weight distribution hitch, the truck sits nice and level with the trailer and is crazy stable, almost drives like there is no trailer at all.

For the first 1,500 miles we had two 500lb motorcycles inside the trailer, and the truck did not notice at all.

Added a rack system on my 21 Carbon Pro. Was able to find a system that uses the stake pockets and works with my trifold cover. Rack is rated to 1000# static and 500# dynamic loads. The uprights come off with 8 bolts and can be done with one person in just a few minutes. The vertical uprights at 26” and are about as high as the shark fin antenna on the cab. They made a mounting bracket for the rear pocket specific for the Carbon Pro. The bracket follows the inner curvature of the bed below the stake pockets. The front pockets are the same for all bed types.
Have a 270 degree awning on the way, just in time for tailgating. Look up ADARAC systems for more details as they make setups for all trucks.

Just took mine in for its first service,
Oil at the rear of the motor…
I’ve got the diagnostic appointment next Tuesday. Honestly, think I’ve got a blown rear main! Not even at 6k miles! I’m completely shell shocked still.

Yeah what he asked.....
It says Duramax on the side of the fender, it's the 3.0L.

Dropped it off at the dealer to fix both the oil pan leak and the DEF level sensor, since it's constantly telling me it's empty and only let me put in 1.5 gallons.

My AT4 came with just very blan puddle lights, no insignia, just bulbs. I replaced them 2 years ago with the GMC emblem ones and thought that was pretty cool. Seems since that time, several aftermarket manufacturers have brought new types to the market. Donslife YT channel did a review of these from BadgeBeam and I loved the multicolor 3D design.

They offer custom designs, but currently only in white. They are working on 2 color custom availability
