What did you do to your AT4 today?

2025 AT4 3500. This week I installed a larger Banks oil pan, deep trans pan, and rear diff cover. Also did the PPE Fuel coolant pump/line relocation kit so I can run the large/deep PPE oil filter.

But wait, there’s more…also added Cognito’s centerlink & tie rod kit, Supersteer idler support box, and Kryptonite death grip idler. Truck was down for a few days but she’s back up and running better than before. Toe was a little off after everything so today she got dropped off at the alignment shop and was buttoned up.

Next weeks “sneak peek”…my Stage 3 intake from Wehrli. 😎

Hell yeah! I have the same stupid disease. My wife doesn't ask or offer treatment options anymore. She just let's me buy/swap out new working stock parts for better working aftermarket parts. She understands that this disease is un-curable.

P. S. This is the 1500 forum, but do us hd guys have this thread in the hd section? Maybe we need to make one! This forum is tough to navigate as you'll end up in a 1500 forums (or vice versa) easily without noticing. I do it a lot!

Been looking at that King 2.5 kit with the Mazzulla billet UCAs. How do you like them? What was the overall lift obtained with that? I see you have an after market bumper but what size tire are you running? Truck looks well set up? I had a Thuren 2.5 King set up on my RAM I recently sold and the ride was insanely plush on road and was also very capable and nimble off road. I had stage 2 valving.
I love the kings with Mazzulla uppers. On and off road the truck handles amazing. I did a 150 mile off road run from Barstow, CA to Bullhead AZ all in 1 day with my work crew and truck handled everything with no issues. Then the next mornign the wife drove the truck back home and the truck drove like a highway queen lol. I could use some shock tuning but for a set up straight out the box I have no complaints. Im running 35 inch tires on 17 inch methods bead grips. I do plan to bump up to 37 inch tires very soon.

Dropped my truck off this morning at it's natural habitat, the dealership. Coolant control valve is finally available and ready to be put in. I told the service manager that I've also been getting the u1345 code (grille shutter wiring), gonna see if the tech finds anything while he has the fender liner pulled. I'm not holding my breath, but I figure why not since they're already there.

Haha! Sorry, but that made me laugh. Hope it all works out and you can re-home your truck to your driveway/garage.

Ha thanks! I told the service guy I'm trying so hard to love this truck but GM isn't making it easy ha. All in all, they've been good guys and have treated me well, it's just the availability of parts and issues on GM's end. That, and it's a 45 minute drive one way to the dealer in my rural neck of the woods.

Picked up my truck from the dealer. So far so good with the coolant pump, on the ride home anyway. They did the recall too I guess based on the paperwork for the rear end lockup (software monitoring or whatever it was). Cleared all the codes. They either didn't look into the questionable grille wiring, or my guess, the service advisor didn't tell the tech to do it. We'll see if that code comes back the first rain storm or car wash. Service advisor said that code may have been tied to the coolant pump anyway. I'm not buying that, but we'll see. If I have to take this back for a fourth time, they will be giving me some sort of loaner to drive home, or I'll park this truck in their showroom window

Been a busy week, oil/fuel filter changes, greased the UCA bushings/ball joint, changed out fog light bezels for gloss black, gloss black grill overlay, and 12mm spacers to get some room between the tires and UCAs. Rotated the tires while working on that. Used extended threaded lug nuts. I was able to get at least 12 full turns before torquing them to 140 #/ft. That was enough to move the rubbing of the passenger tire further inside the wheel well. Took care of that with a file/Dremel and knocked off enough of the plastic on the cap to get it to stop at full lock.

Did the oil change and tire rotation today. I probably need to change up my oil change interval. I've always done it every 6 months regardless of miles...which was about 6k-7k miles. I think I can go to yearly, as I only had 3,291 miles over the last 6 months. My retirement job has me working full time from the house, so I hardly drive her anymore.

If retirement is so much work, I think I'll skip it. 😉

Would be interested to hear what sub set up you pair with this harness. Would like to add a powered unit in combo with a harness like this. Does it allow the bose sub to stay active and add the aux sub?
FWIW, sounds good stereo is now supporting more GMC options. They have a few plug and play amp racks & loaded sub boxes for the bose option now. Pricey, but their quality is top notch

Installed a BakFlip MX4 on my 2025 GMC 1500 AT4 Carbon Pro Edition.... wasnt too bad, some extra drilling but went smooth. I do not understand by BakFlip doesn't utilize the factory self tapped hole at the very rear of the rail. I was going to try but I don't have the means to make that slot in the rail. Either way, it came out pretty good and was very straight forward. I just need to do the drain plugs tomorrow...

I have the same setup. Wondering if any of the other BAK products would now work with the carbon pro beds utilizing the modified rail mounts.
