What did you do to your AT4 today?

That’s what they said. The call last week sounded like I was talking to someone that Knew their products very well. I questioned it also cause I was looking at 1.1-1.2” increase with shocks only cause I want to keep some rake . I asked “ so if I want to add 1.2” only on at4 ,you don’t have any upper control arms that I can use ? “. He said that is correct. So I called Cognito and said theirs work for whatever height I want.
Seems so bizarre

That’s odd, I talked to BDS and they said their control arms are good for stock AT4’s and even better when we do a 1-2” lift.

Was able to get a little more work done on my airbag install last night. The bolts that came with the lower mount were not designed to be used with the cradle kit, so I improvised. I took the cradle kit bolts and tig welded them in as studs in the lower bracket, then just cut off the excess. All installed and tightened down. Now just have to run airlines.

Maybe they're worried if you have stock wheels that the ball joint end of the arm will rub on the tire at a certain angle if its not lifted high enough? I have aftermarket wheels with 0 offset so they poke out a little and are not near the arms at all. Other than that I don't see anyway the arms would be an issue, they clear the bump stops plenty at this height.

After you hold a stock UCA in your hand after its been removed and you feel how light weight and cheap they feel you'll wonder how these are on any truck let alone an AT4.

What's your current height difference front and rear? I'm about to pull the trigger on the 6112's but I'm not sure if I want to do the 1.2" lift or just the .6" lift. I want a little bit of rake left! Thanks
I have 1 1/2" rake now and it will settle a little the instructions said, plus I still need an alignment so that will make it lower as well. I've been worried the highest setting might be too much but now I'm so glad I used that height. It doesn't look completely level at all, you can easily see rake.

Here is a visual, both bottles are the same height.

Great looking. Made my decision easy now. What was the rake before you added shocks and control arms?

What wheels are those! Great looking ride. My 6112s/ICON UCAs are on the way. I have the 3.0 and hope that I can get about 1”

I called readylift 3x and each time they said they don’t recommend any upper they sell if I just want to add 1” in front with shocks. Said the 1.75” kit arms would not be correct cause they are made for 1.75” and not less. Seems crazy ,so which arms you buy? Cognito says theirs work fine
They have my question on their site even

Q: 2025 gmc 1500 at4,3.0 diesel want to replace upper control arms and add bilstein 5100 (24-337069 ) adjustable shock at 1.1” height ring. This is correct upper for that ? I do not want the 1.75” extra just about inch to keep rake .
A: If you want to keep rake we would suggest going with our 2" SST which provides 2" front and 1" rear. We would not suggest using these arms on only 1" lift.

They didn't specify if they won't work or if they believe they are just not needed for 1". To me it reads like you just don't need them for 1".

The guy on phone said wouldn’t advice using them since made for 1.75” increase and not be correct angle .Sounds so silly but what he said
