Little interior upgrade. Added the Boost Auto center console charging pad. Took about 20 mins. Charges pretty quick. 15-18w. Looks factory and should have been part of the electronics package in the AT4. 6112/5100/ICON UCAs on the way.

A little electric step upgrade. Easy, cheap, and 1k times nicer than the steps factory finish.

What brand? Upgrading my lights and adding a manual override switch this weekend.
It’s just Amazon boat flooring- FOCEAN. The $48 94.5” x 15.7” is long/wide enough to do both sides. Wash then clean with rubbing alcohol. Use new razor blades to cut it smooth or an oscillator with a razor blade.

Dropped my truck off yesterday at the dealership for them to investigate my check engine lights. Got a call later in the afternoon. Coolant control valve. Covered under powertrain, but no availability in sight. Guy told me all four engine lights were connected to it, which I'm not sure I fully believe, but whatever. I won't be driving it much now for a bit anyway. It will be going in my garage for a bit for airbags.

Kind of interesting you took a very different approach to what I did to get the same end result.

I put the gen5 light switch in the bed connected to the OEM bed lights and it gets power from the trailer harness. But I also installed additional strip led’s in the bed. I used a 2 in 1 out diode so power from the cab mounted OEM button or power from the switch sending power from the trailer harness will both activate both the OEM bed lights and the aftermarket strip lights. Can use the bed switch or cab button to turn on and off the lights. But if I have the bed switch on and turn off the cab button, lights would still be on since I am using 2 separate power sources.

cool seeing another method of tackling the same issue.

I had already added additional bed lighting strips to the cargo light circuit which needed a relay. I gave that power from the underhood fuse panel, and trigged it with cargo light wire. I found that thread and it seemed like the easiest way for me to add the secondary switch. Literally just 1 wire. It works great. If I hadn't already done the additional lighting, I probably would have done something like you did and tapped into the trailer harness. I do really like the fact that each switch functions independently but together. Since they are both momentary switches, there is no actual "on" position. Either one does full on or off, regardless of the other.. I got to show it off to the guys at work today, and it felt great to be able to impress them! One guy has a '22 Denali HD and he's probably going to add the switch now too. I may recommend that gen5 setup so he can get power right from the back of the truck. That would have been nice for me. Way shorter wiring run!

Fun finding ways to make these truck better meet our needs, and being able to share those. Despite the updated and more complex electrical systems we find ways to make them operate better for us and prove they are still customizable. Nice job!

Put my Gator retractable bedcover I ordered from a vendor and Gator put the wrong rails in the box so it came up short so now I have to wait until customer service contacts me so they can ship me the correct rails. 🫤

While I was on hold I ordered a few more things:
-Start Stop eliminator
-iDash Pro with mount
-Auto fog mod switch from Boost Auto
-SSC2 Fog light kit
-Black emblems
-AVS hood protector
-Screen protector
-Short Antenna
-License plate LEDs
-Reverse light bar from VLEDS

I think I'm good for the rest of the year. I just had to knockout everything at once so I don't have to keep explaining to the wife why I keep getting boxes haha. Last few things I want are bigger tires and to do a 1" lift upfront.
Got my new Gator rails from the vendor I ordered the cover from. Now it sits perfectly!

Installed the start stop eliminator and the boost auto fog light mod. I installed the black emblems covers that I got as well! I ended up returning the AVS hood protector as I didn't like how it fit. Screen protector, short antenna and reverse lights were installed. I got my VLED's light bar installed, but didn't realize it said it wouldn't work on Sierra's with the Tow Assist, Advanced Trailering System. They are working on a new harness so I'm waiting for that.

Something I got that I didn't ask for was a dang rock chip on my windshield. :(
