I must have been tired last night. Most Hawse Fairleads are aluminum. You need to run your rope in so that the rope puck runs horizontal. It will keep from making burrs on the fairlead. It will also hide the hook.

It was late yesterday and sure you are right since thats how I saw the winch hook lay flat in 2400HD pre-release videos in 2023. I may need to hold the hook 90 degrees then pull it in. I'll play around with it later this morning.I must have been tired last night. Most Hawse Fairleads are aluminum. You need to run your rope in so that the rope puck runs horizontal. I'm missing the rubber winch hook isolator, it is supposed to be included in AEV installation kit; I'll call the dealer when they open; a retracted winch hook should look like this (photo from AEV installation manual)I must have been tired last night. Agreed. I'm looking for one that will work. That looks more like it!
If'n it was mine and thinking it would be used in winter alot, I would install a flip mount. Cold and snow and gloves and adrenaline, I would be loosing the thumb nuts in snow.
I feel ya! Looks sharp!Added an AEV badge on passenger side; with the truck backed into most parking spots, the AEV badge on the tailgate is not visible; being vain as I am, I need to show I spent an extra $10k on the AEV Edition

Might take a look at black, 3" piano hinge. More than likely will have to drill your holes, but it is a simple design.Agreed. I'm looking for one that will work.
Looks good bud. I'm trying to color match the tech bronze on our trucks to hyper dip the chrome badges. If the color is close, I might do the aev badge too.Added an AEV badge on passenger side; with the truck backed into most parking spots, the AEV badge on the tailgate is not visible; being vain as I am, I need to show I spent an extra $10k on the AEV Edition

I’m digging that!Love it. I have the same DiamondBack HD tonneau cover except I chose not to have cleats pre-installed from factory but have them as an accessory for when I put an ATV on top. Really solid cover, zero leaks through heavy rains and snow, whatever the PNW and BC throw at it.

I received my black Factor55 Prolink however find it extends 2" beyond the Comeup Winch License Plate mount. What this means is either mounting the license plate as you've done above the winch or find a deep flip-up mount which I'm not able to locate. I'll won't use the Factor55 Prolink for now. You do a lot of offroading and will frquently use your winch, I won't.Winch install done. Added Factor55 Prolink. Looking for better license plate solution, as my state requires a front plate. Rooftop tent mounted up too, but needs a bath.
Now on to the lights. Also still debating replacing the mid-dash speaker with a mediocre alternative.
