What did you do to your AT4 today?

Well, I have to say . . . I'm pretty blown away by the work. I honestly can't tell there was ever damage. I'm pretty happy with the results, and though it sucked all around, I'm still excited & in love with my AT4!

I should have grabbed before pics, but I think I was too pissed to remember to do it. It was pocked up pretty well and you could see the ripples and light bends all across it. But now it's smooth again.

Here is the result:

*Edit: None of the white flecks or anything is a scratch, it's just dirty from the drive home and flower blooms.

Y'all are gonna be super jealous, but yesterday I did the first thing everyone on this forum wants to do with a two week old AT4 with less than 200 miles on it . . . I took it in for $3k of PDR work for hail repair!

A week after getting the damn thing a big ass hail storm came through and dimpled me up while I looked on aghast.
i was on vacation in italy for two weeks and dropped off the my new AT4 to get coated, and it got hammered with hail as well. basically just the hood, so im going to order a new hood. couple on top of the cab that im gonna have pulled. but super kick in the pants.

Been a long day… Full emblem swap. Removed and painted exhaust tips then reinstalled. Had some extra film laying around so I covered the vent emblems. Wasn’t sure how it would turn out since the letters are raised but I think it turned out well.
Also swapped my rear shocks for 5100s.
window tint and drop steps next week.

Looks great! Have a pic of the exhaust tips? I'm onyx black paint, but curious how the black looks.

There’s a closeup of the tips in my post. I did a satin black engine enamel. I’d do something with more shine with black for sure.

I like Skar subwoofers; they have an outstanding warranty and are local to Florida. I'm using a 10" SVR-D2 @ 1 ohm with Rockford R1200-1D. The stock sub will stay for now. If I ever get my harness from @SoundsGoodStereo I let you know. So far @SoundsGoodStereo is a horrible company, and they suck monkey balls ordered the harness two weeks ago, and they haven't responded to any emails on the status. I'm about to dispute the charge and order from https://lljcustoms.com/products/2013-2024-gm-bose-t-harness-r2g
what option would you select for the sub processor/driver?

Finally got my LED GMC front emblem put on. Very happy with how it turned out. Looks fantastic at dusk and night. 😊👍
Also painted the top portion of the grill with gloss white hyper dip to see if I like it. Looks decent but now I think it looks like an Elevation, nT4. Not sold on it yet, might wrap the whole front grill in something different.

I can't imagine how it's possible to truly fix hail damage... Gotta be impossible
We have a guy around here called "The Dent Master" and he can get any dent/ding out as long as it's not on a seam/crease. I went there once, and he would not let me watch him work. In fact, he drove me down to the restaurant and even paid for my breakfast while he worked. Talk about service and he did a great job.

Ok, I have to know. My truck is exactly like yours except I have the factory 2" lift, same wheels & tires. Do you have any rubbing and how much did you have to trim? I've got the ceramic coating and next week I'm installing Bilstein 5100 shocks to hopefully stop the minor rubbing on full right turns.

What do mean by factory 2" level? The AT4 comes with a 2" lift, but a leveling kit will add another 1.75"-2" lift to the front end to level. Reading your build list in the signature line, I dont see what leveling kit you have. Can you share?
I think I saw on another thread you mentioned you did the mudflap bracket delete I sent you. That helped with clearance a lot for me.

I have the 2" leveling kit, so my front end is 4" higher than the baseline (non-AT4) models. When I have 5 grown adults in the cab I do get very minor rubbing on the front passenger mudflap when I am turning right into a driveway or bump if I am going over 15mph. That is the only rubbing I have had. My trimming was minor in my opinion. Maybe an inch or so of plastic off the top of the mudflap. That was also done before I did the mudflap bracket delete, so honesty not even sure I needed to trim if I had done the bracket deletion first.

I was under the impression that the 2" level was just that. I did not know it was actually a 2" lift. I stand corrected.

So is your suspension stock? or have you added a leveling kit?
No leveling kit, just the factory lift and I think because I was confused between a 2" factory lift and a 2" leveling kit is the reason I'm having so much trouble stuffing the 35" tires in there. What kind of leveling kit did you use? Maybe that's what I need to do.
