What did you do to your AT4 today?

Added ReadyLift 1.75” & UCA’s a couple weeks back. Been pondering wheels but nothing really jumped out that got me away from the factory style & look. So added 1.25” BORA spacers and LT295/70R18 Nitto Recon Grapplers on the factory GMC wheels. And yes…you will be cutting / trimming for similar setup.
Looks good!

I am not a fan of those particular factory wheels, but my 23 AT4X factory wheels were nice. I debated getting 1.5" wheel spacers, but instead went with some aftermarket wheels with a -13 offset. My main reason for not doing the spacers is the risk... the risk of a wheel coming off, etc. I have used spacers before, but since I pull a 16' enclosed job trailer, didn't want the extra stress a wheel spacer puts on things. I do have the 1.5" RC front level kit, plus the RC improved angle UCA's.

In restrospect, I am not overly happy with my new wheels look. Fuel Contra 18x9 with -13 offset. I liked the stock wheel look better and wish I had saved some money and just done spacers. But there still would always be that extra risk (IMO) of having spacers on a vehicle that is often towing.

I suppose I just chose the wrong wheel, really. I should have chosen a different looking wheel, but that is water under the bridge unless I want to waste over a grand and get some different looking wheels, which I won't do. I will try to post a pic of my current setup for reference.

New wallpaper... gorgeous truck sir.
Are those stock black wheels?

Just bought this 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 (3.0 Duramax) used with less than 10k miles. I noticed when I first saw this AT4 was that it looked leveled (which I really like). Looking at the suspension, I can’t see a spacer (unless I’m missing it) or anything and it all appears stock in the front and back. The front measures 39.5” and the rear is 39.75” (ground to top of wheel well). I took a couple of photos just to get y’all’s opinion. So far all I’ve added are the steps, Ronin antenna, new B&W and a Bakflip mx4 bed cover yesterday. Looking to add the UCA’s next if needed.

Picked mine up yesterday…2023 with 1200 miles. They sold the new one like it I wanted so had to settle for this one…Was owned by an older couple for about 2 weeks and they found it didn’t fit their needs. Got an excellent trade on my TrailBoss as well so I couldn’t turn it down. I don’t drive it every day so the 1200 miles won’t matter in the long run. This 3.0 is amazing. No regrets getting rid of the 6.2 Boss. (Other than the fact that I didn’t take my GoRhino D6 boards off.) I did get my Retrax and my BedRug out.

Tint, ceramic, and black AT4 emblems and GMC to come soon.

Installed a Blendmount for my Uniden R8 detector and a wiring kit for my Blackvue 900X dashcam. The wiring kit plugs into the compartment above the rearview mirror. It includes the plug for the radar detector and dashcam. Very convenient!

I love your truck! How do you like the Recons? Do you think that those would fit on a non lifter AT4? I know 285s should fit stock wheels but those look large. Nice!

Nice and shiny but its hard to keep it looking that way. (y)
Yea, dark colors are always hard to keep clean. The metallic in the Titanium Rush hides some of the dirt though. Pretty happy with the color overall. Plus the ceramic coating will help to keep the metallic shining.

Installed Rough Country E boards today. Like the way they heal with the body, the 2 motors per side, sturdy, and the comfortable step heights. About 30% less dough than the AMPs that crapped out on me multiple times on my previous truck. Our SIL has had E boards on his truck for awhile with no problems.

I like how those steps really tuck under nicely! Looks great!

Ceramic tint complete. Ceramic coating up next -Monday. Guess I’ll bite the bullet and order the black emblems and get my tips painted.

Did 70% on the windshield and matched the sides.

I want to do something very similar with tire size , level , and bora spacers . Have you noticed any change in vibration , ride, or steering with the spacers ? I really like the stock black 18” AT4X wheels and don’t see a need to change them….. unless spacers create unwanted noise vibration or harshness .

Bought a set of Nitto Recon Grapplers (295x65/R20) and had them put on my OEM wheels. Surprisingly...no rubbing. The UCA's on the front have great clearance as well. Thought I would have to trim, and maybe I will if I get consistent rubbing, but so far it's all good.
