That would scare me on an off road vehicle.Added the drain valve when I did this oil change.
Sway bar hangs lower than the valveThat would scare me on an off road vehicle.Has anyone ever had one get ripped off while out in the boonies?
I was just going to comment the same. I had one on my ram, which was great, and it was protected by the sway bar pretty well. Mine came with a 90 degree screw on elbow to get the oil stream by sway bar actually.Sway bar hangs lower than the valve
Same, on all my rigs it’s protected by skid plates or some other member being lower. I also use the drain hose for that reason to route those items when changing fluid.I was just going to comment the same. feel the same way! Anything hanging down there has and opportunity to snag onto something and it being what hold in my oil,,,, yikes. I'm glad to hear no one has had any issues. I might have to look into one...That would scare me on an off road vehicle.Has anyone ever had one get ripped off while out in the boonies?
Yeah! I'm glad we have a dry day here today since I'm visiting the dealer for an oil change. Won't have to shine it back up again on my return; hate to see a spec of dust or rain on itFinally warmed up enough to hand wash my truck for the first time in months. Now I just have to claybar it, polish it, seal it, and never drive it again![]()
We have such nasty salty roads here it's ridiculous. Even when it's dry here, the stuff still gets all over. I try not to drive my truck much, and just drive my commuter car instead. We'll be probably mid May before the roads are remotely clean, and that will take several rain storms.Yeah! I'm glad we have a dry day here today since I'm visiting the dealer for an oil change. You're ideas are always bad for my wallet. How about a link?Trying out some clone HD style AT4 lights on my 2025 1500, just cosmetic and none of the fancy sweeping or anything. Just look better than the plain red taillights to me.
