What did you do to your AT4 today?

That piece of shit ain't from the factory. gm sells every vehicle to a dealer. gm could care less if a person defaults on the loan.

Like you said...OnStar can still track that vehicle. That's what the factory installs!
Agreed. The tracker definitely came from the dealer.

I have a friend that does audits for a wide array of dealerships in north Texas, and this topic has come up before over a beer. In our part of the state, the trackers almost never go out in new vehicles. They are typically installed in a used vehicle when the buyer is a serious credit risk, or has other bad history. I am not suggesting that if you found one in your vehicle that you are a credit risk, I am just sharing what I have gleaned from discussions regarding dealerships in this region. I think the guy in the videos lives in Seattle, Washington.

More importantly, the trackers that they install around here are NOT tied into the OBD port. They are installed elsewhere in the vehicle and they are always powered on. I don't know where they install them, but they must be fairly difficult to find. Several months ago I was told about a guy that purchased a 3 year old truck and six months later fell more than 60 days behind in payments. He moved to Oklahoma City, took out the dashboard, and cut all of the wires that lead into the Onstar box thinking that they could not find him. His vehicle was repossessed two days later and located via the hidden tracker.

I have heard a tracker under the dash pad of the pre-re's, above the gauge cluster. Easy to remove by popping up. Held in place with 5 spring tabs...

Traded mine off on Friday. Wasn’t really looking to do so, but it just sorta happened. I was in Mississippi on a basketball road trip and had a day in between games. Killing time and made the mistake of looking at a Raptor. I’ve been GM trucks my whole life with the exception of a few imports. First thing I noticed when I sat in the Raptor was how much more comfortable the seats were. After checking it all out the salesman “convinced” me to take it for a drive. It too was night and day difference over the AT4. I’m one that likes to change vehicles when the deal works out if I find something I like more, and this was one of those cases. I may regret it and if I do I’ll come back to an AT4X, but for now I have no regrets at all.

This was after driving through all the Mississippi rain Friday evening.

I’ll miss the AT4 a little, but I’m gonna roll with this for a while.

I love the way this truck drives, the way it tows, and the seats, but I may be next in line to trade off this truck. Mine got a new CCV back just before I purchased it and now I'm getting the fans running on high all the time, and codes.

P1098, P04FB, and P22FE

Our 2015 F150 with the 5.0L has over 100k miles and has had nothing fail on it. I'm going to lose so much if I trade it in, but I don't know what else to do anymore. I have zero trust that I can drive it more than an hour from home.

I hate to say it but I do believe this is the theme for a lot of new vehicles being produced these days. Sad............... They really do not build them like they used to.....

The Fords are great trucks. My last couple were F-150 Powerboosts and they were great. Enjoy!

Hauled some new cabinets for my garage remodel. Not top of the line I know, but good enough for what I do. Couldn't beat the sales price. My new attic mounted hoist made it easy. I gotta shim a couple wheels for my very uneven floor, then I can start filling em.

I am really impressed with the function and quality of the Yukon. I got the same one 5 years ago for my beach house garage. Don’t work on it every day but exceeded my expectations. Wouldn’t hesitate to get those for my primary garage. Organization makes every project easier.

For sure. I was back and forth on this and the Home Depot Husky, but decided on the yukons. I was pretty impressed with the quality out of package, especially for a $300 box.
