Shock Suggestions

I hated the Ranchos that came with the truck. It bounced like a trampoline, especially while towing our camper. It rolled around corners. I swapped them out with Bilstein 5160's. 100% improvement.
was your truck stock ride height? I have a 2026 GMC 3500 AT4, and the ride is like a lumber wagon.

I have finally found the magic recipe if you don’t want to lift or level.

Bilstein 4600’s ($300)
Sulastic rear shackle. ($600) unreal difference
Lower tire pressure when not towing

Optional - Bilstein Steering Stabilizer + Kryptonite Bracket

Mine is a 3500 at4, it rides like a firm 1500. Totally different machine.

Anyone have any thoughts on Kings? Expensive but are they quality? They can be rebuilt so I guess that’s a plus. Stock AT4 2500. Towing and farm use in addition to occasional daily driving.

Hmmm, only showing them making a set for the rear on 1500's. Never heard of them. You can get a full set of Fox 2.0 remote res, rebuildable for much less than just a set of rears of those.

I was talking to a trusted Off road shop I've used for years, and they mentioned 3 (Bilstein, Fox and King) for upgrades over the Rancho.

Kings are good. If you have the premium money they cost. Honestly unless you plan on jumping your truck or going over to baja or moab full time, to me, it's not worth the $$$. I stick to the cheapest fox shocks. Icon vehicle dynamics is another premium brand. Bilsteins are nice too but I don't want German on my American truck so that's the only reason why I'm all in on Fox.

My truck will be doing long haul runs from Texas to PA and back partially loaded. Occasional towing, and light farm use (hilly wooded terrain, ruts and a few rocks. I don't mind paying IF its quality and keeps me from bouncing around like crazy on the stock shocks. Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it.
