Nice install.
I'm interested in this setup for reverse lights. Do you have any pics showing what it looks like while backing up at night? I mostly use mirrors while backing and need light to spread out the sides as well. It's very tight but no issues.

I'll try and get some pictures tonight.I'm interested in this setup for reverse lights. Do you have any pics showing what it looks like while backing up at night? I mostly use mirrors while backing and need light to spread out the sides as well.
Forgot to grab photos but this is where I copied the idea and there are pictures in the link: https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/258553-rear-lights-added-into-bumper-steps-rigid-ignite/I'll try and get some pictures tonight.
Thanks zz502! I decided to try a less invasive approach and ordered the Morimoto Backup LED Light Bar...Something about drilling 1.75" holes in the bumper of my brand new truck just doesn't sit well. LOL! If the backup light bar doesn't work, I'll probably go with this approach. Thanks again for the response.Forgot to grab photos but this is where I copied the idea and there are pictures in the link: https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/258553-rear-lights-added-into-bumper-steps-rigid-ignite/
Ouch! $500 for two backup lights!? I've decided to try the Morimoto Backup LED Light Bar first to see how that goes. Thanks for the suggestion!I've seen these around for a bit now. They look super clean installed but they're pretty pricey IMO. https://podholes.com/products/pod-hole
You'll like it! It makes a world of a difference!Ouch! $500 for two backup lights!? I've decided to try the Morimoto Backup LED Light Bar first to see how that goes. Thanks for the suggestion!
That looks like it’s pretty bright. My dealer said my Putco was installed correct and there is nothing they could do. I’m super disappointed with it as it ads almost zero additional light and when looking at my backup camera it’s not usable when backing up my dark drivewayAnother + for morimoto bar. 2024 1500 AT4. T-tap. No relay. No issues. 30mim install max.

I just got the MoriMoto for my 2024 AT4 as well. However I cannot figure out where to get a 12v reverse signal from.Another + for morimoto bar. 2024 1500 AT4. T-tap. No relay. No issues. 30mim install max.

Welcome.I just got the MoriMoto for my 2024 AT4 as well. However I cannot figure out where to get a 12v reverse signal from.
I removed the taillamp assembly but found the bottom 3 pins were all ground and of the top 2 pins there, 1 was approximately 7 volts and the other was 12 volts. The 12 volt pin (brown if I remember correctly) was live regardless of the taillight output (reverse, parking, turn/brake). The 7 volt pin (red) was active any time the truck was awake. I am assuming the 7 volt pin is actually connected to the CAN and the light itself has a controller to distribute power internally.
Where did you pull the voltage for the reverse lights from? My understanding is that the trailer connector reverse lights are not always powered unless a trailer is sensed.
I used the light green wire for the positive and the black wire for the negative and used the supplied T Tap connector. I also have a '24 so it should be exactly the same.I just got the MoriMoto for my 2024 AT4 as well. However I cannot figure out where to get a 12v reverse signal from.

I can confirm this color combination worked for me as well.I used the light green wire for the positive and the black wire for the negative and used the supplied T Tap connector. I also have a '24 so it should be exactly the same.
