They did the recall work this week and placed the flier attached in my owners manual. Supposedly they hook a device up and call a specialist at GM and actually have them listen to the engine. If it passes, they change the oil to 0w-40. Supposedly GM is considering extending these warranties to 100K miles (and x# years).
