Radio cuts out for 1 second consistently

I got one last week. It was not a radio fix
At this point I'm convinced they've just given up on a fix.

I guess it takes a week longer to make it to Carlisle

It's probably just the "entertainment system" booting up and it takes forever because the chip used in old and slow. Similar to how when you boot up any computer it looks like it's "on" but there is still 1000 processes opening up in the background.

My 2026 does it. I've been told its my phone, an inexpensive 5G Samsung A32. Does it cut out with $1000 phones? Apple? Very irritating. My 2018 Sierra didn't do this.

It does it with apple. I’m not sure if it’s something coming through like a text or some notification.

It has nothing to do with the phone....it's the stupid GMC hardware/software.

I’ve had the dreaded cut out since new as well. Either paired with my or the wife’s phones and even the am/fm radio. Didn’t even think about telling gm till now..

Mine just started doing this! Prior to the recall/software update it never did it. Now it does it almost once per drive.

I just took the easy way out. Stopped listening to the radio.
Jokes aside, haven't had any issues with the radio
