New seats in 2024 AT4 HD

Kinda side by side comparison so to speak. So the seat bottom “flares” have better foam and stand up more. You can see how those seat flares on the OEM are more flat therefore less support. Same with seat back “flares”. The seams in OEM seem to be more into your back versus the Katzkin flares dont have a seam and that seam stiffens right down the flare. Seat back flares have a softer foam over the OEM. I think those subtle changes and the fact the seat foam middle has the softer foam along with the Katzkin leather being soft make this upgrade worth the money.

Yes. They told me the bottom seat cushion will soften up even more over time.

I think so. I have often thought it would be nice to have a new drivers skin because thats the seat that wears out. My truck is brand new but maybe a few years down the road I switch. I dont think Im all that likely to do the change you did. Just curious, was that cast skin available in all black? I dont love the brown accents on AT4 seats and I never realized how hard they were until people started talking about it.

Yes I would be interested as a backup. What’s your 2 cents on being able to change out the oem “leather” for the original if mine would get torn? Something I can do or take to a professional?
