New and simple Bose bypass with full Signal Sound

It works great. I put it in today and the kit has everything you need but amp. Turn signals and all chimes are gone when you disabled them in the PAC unit.

So far the sound is great with the eq in my amp dsp flat. I’ll adjust the DSP eq to each speaker soon.
Which micro USB data cable did you end up going with?
Where does the connection go from your amp output? Is there a harness that you can still connect to in the truck, after the Bose amp was removed?

Hey, did you have any issues turning off the chimes? Also, do you have a wired ding/chime when you unlock and open door. It dings every 15-20 seconds.

All of the chimes are controlled by the pac unit. You can choose to turn on/off front and rear speakers independently. Also front and rear chimes have separate volume levels. I have mine set low enough I can just hear them with no music playing. = if music is playing at low volume i can’t hear them.

Hello, yah I think something went wrong with the installation. The chimes wouldn't turn off/reduced volume. I'm getting this really odd ding/chime when I unlock the truck or open the doors. Doesn't go away until I start the truck.

Idk how you turn off the chimes unless you use a PC. I suggest disconnecting the power from it when you set levels with a computer, mine acted weird. The odd ding means you drastically turned up the main volume level- it makes the turn signal and chimes sound odd.

Hold the button until it flashes red back and forth for a full reset and try again.

PAC AUDIO

For 2019 to 2024 GMs with Bose.

The New Pac audio AP4-GM71 eliminates the Bose amp and gives you full flat signal.
- Optical out and 6 RCA 4 or 5v outputs (Front CH1&2, Rear 3&4, and Sub 5&6 (non fading) or 2 Channel )
- choose pass through of full signal or ability to retain factory dash Bass, Mid, and Treble adjustment toggles.
- all chimes, sensor alerts, CarPlay, Onstar, etc work as factory. Options- Chime enable, disable, and volume level.
- Adjustable Radio minimum Volume Level

First adapter to take the Ethernet Signal plugged into the Bose Amp and give full Analog by RCA and Digital Optical outputs.

Use whatever DSP, AMP, and speaker setup you want.

Options for connecting back into Factory Harness to use the OEM speaker wires or speakers-
Adapters (fit my 2023 HD) - plugs onto factory harness 8 pin ( Front Doors and sub) and 16 Pin (Dash and Rear Doors)

NO MORE NEED FOR- all of the STUPID Crap to maybe hear full music sound in your Truck.
Thank GOD! I am sick and tired of the cat like sound that comes out of my AT4's speakers. My and my passengers ears Thank You for this post

Roger that. Will get the app, apparently there's a firmware update as well. Can you do a factory reset via the app?

Got everything set up. But, still have that odd chime that goes off when I unlock the truck. Goes away after starting the truck. Did you adjust the minimum volume or turn off the equalizer settings?

Thanks

Are there any photos of the actual hookup, this looks like a great option but am not familiar with where & how to access !
I have a 2024 SIerra AT4 1500 diesel.

Should be on the back passenger wall behind the seat. If you do like I did. I unclipped the factory harness and put it in the backseat storage.
Getting to the amp is pretty quick. 4- 10mm bolts at the bottom of the backseat on the wall. Remove all headrests and the plastic holders pop out with a flat head, lastly there are 3 latches behind the top of the seat that release the entire back.

I am still a little fuzzy on where this is located, is it the back passenger seat and if so which side as I don't want to dig in with out knowing ! Please share a little more !

This is with the amp rack from Sound Good but the Bose amp is the silver box to the left of the after market amp. The layout of the back firewall is close to as it appears here without amp rack and aftermarket amp however they remounted the Bose on top of one of the vents (see right black vent in pic).

Awesome! Thanks so much, with your after market amp do you have a subwoofer also or are the Bose Speakers sufficiant

I adjusted the main volume then the minimums for the chimes to barely noticeable. EQ is off bc the DSP amplifier takes care of all eq, wouldn’t want anything battling the DSP settings. The great thing about the PAC unit is getting clean audio from the source.

Colorado Kid:
I first swapped out all speakers (Focals in doors and Audio Frogs in dash) and it sounded better but needed more bass and power to the mids. Last spring I installed the Sounds Good rack (the one above is not mine - I dont know why I didn't take pics of my install) with a Audio Integrations Solutions Bose Integration plug and play harness from the Bose to an Audison APF8.9 DSP amp. AIS had great detailed instructions and were very responsive to questions throughout the whole process.

The DSP amp outputs go back into the Bose integration harness and back into the Bose. It keeps door chimes and phone, etc. The subwoofer speaker output from DSP amp goes to a JL Audio 10TW sub in a custom box fits with lots of room under the seat and still keeps most of the storage. This is super simple install.

I am about to add an Audison AFM1D amp and replace the JL Audio with bigger Morel Powerslim subwoofer and will have to rewire a few things, adding a power distribution block for the two amps, so I will take some pics of every thing. This sub box is also 16" wide but a little taller - it still fits well meeting volume specs. I am excited about the octopuss-style grill on this one one to keep the bottom of seat fabric from sagging down.
