PAC AUDIO

For 2019 to 2024 GMs with Bose.

The New Pac audio AP4-GM71 eliminates the Bose amp and gives you full flat signal.
- Optical out and 6 RCA 4 or 5v outputs (Front CH1&2, Rear 3&4, and Sub 5&6 (non fading) or 2 Channel )
- choose pass through of full signal or ability to retain factory dash Bass, Mid, and Treble adjustment toggles.
- all chimes, sensor alerts, CarPlay, Onstar, etc work as factory. Options- Chime enable, disable, and volume level.
- Adjustable Radio minimum Volume Level

First adapter to take the Ethernet Signal plugged into the Bose Amp and give full Analog by RCA and Digital Optical outputs.

Use whatever DSP, AMP, and speaker setup you want.

Comes with factory harness connectors for speaker connection.

NO MORE NEED FOR- all of the STUPID Crap to maybe hear full music sound in your Truck.

Awesome. I can get rid of that loop back harness. Will that adapter be required to connect my after market amp back to the speakers? I have upgraded the OEM Bose speakers. With the loop back harness it connects back into the BOSSe amp.

Welcome.

Need some explanation about what this does, and what else needs to be installed to make it work
The PAC GM71 converts the audio signal (Ethernet) that was plugged into the Bose Amp. This give you an optical output and 6 RCAs to feed an amplifier/s without Bose EQ crap. Which means you get full sound to set to your preference to each speaker and Subs.

It removes the Bose amp and plugs in.
You’ll need- Amplifier plus power wiring, and RCAs or optical cable ( depends on what inputs your amp has). Likely some 18 gauge speaker wire and connectors to go from your new amp to the 2 factory speaker connection adapters.
A PC to adjust the few settings for the PAC adapter.

It removes the Bose amp and has 2 adapters for connecting the speakers to the amp you choose. You’ll just need an optical cable or RCA cables and likely 18 gauge speaker wire to extend the adapters to amplifier.

Options for connecting back into Factory Harness to use the OEM speaker wires or speakers-
Adapters (fit my 2023 HD) - plugs onto factory harness 8 pin ( Front Doors and sub) and 16 Pin (Dash and Rear Doors)

Do you know if chime disable includes the turn signal sound? I hate how loud they are.

I will know personally next week, my pac unit arrives Monday. ( was sold out). I would bet it does. The instructions are a bit vague.

Have you installed it yet? Currently waiting for an ETA on my shipment.
Not yet, but a little note for you. Make sure you have a Data capable Micro USB cable for connecting to the Unit. The cheap asses at PAC do not include one. I found out most of the Micro USB cables I have are only wired to charge stuff.

Ok that's good to know. It'll be a while before I get mine. I'll update this site on the installation. Really curious to see how this sound gets cleaned up, minus the BOSE. I'll also need to figure out if the harness that John from AIS that connects my audio control amp back into the Bose AMP will work after I remove the BOSE Amp.

It works great. I put it in today and the kit has everything you need but amp. Turn signals and all chimes are gone when you disabled them in the PAC unit.

So far the sound is great with the eq in my amp dsp flat. I’ll adjust the DSP eq to each speaker soon.
