My friend had the axxess unit in his truck, and there were things about it I like, also things I didn't. I would probably keep it the way I've done it.

As far as everything happening to your setup...damn man! Are you sure you've been referencing the right wire pin out diagrams? This is yet another reason I stand by the way I did mine. Once I double checked (and triple checked) the pinouts, I haven't had any wiring issues. My problems are just not enough power. LOL!

I don’t have any wire pin out diagrams to reference, lol. I was under the impression the harness would be plug and play. After process of elimination I was able to find the tweeters but with my doors not playing any noise I have to track down that issue first.

Any chance you can point me in the right direction for the pin out diagrams? Hoping I can still use this harness before starting from scratch again lol.

What am amazing amount of info and time spent. So cool of you to share this with everyone.
I’m new or late to the party depending on how you look at it. Bought a 26 AT4x a couple months ago. I did the sound deadening to the doors, while not the professional job as PB82 showed, but I described my results with the 12 sp Bose.
And After I added the cheap GM Kicker sub as well, I’ve been dialing in the EQ and the dip switches for the sub as well as the volume for the sub and can say it cranks plenty loud now and has a decent amount of base, I’d say in reality it’s more lower mid base for those true audiophiles, but it is so satisfying to play good music and the size of the doors really helps the tone once the sound deadening is applied sufficiently.
Also one comment about moisture on the door panel, my vapor barrier’s in the doors pulled off super easily because the butyl rope was not sealed enough. I sealed it properly when finished.
