Leveling Kits

I have asked around and lift shops recommend it, but some friends of mine that I would consider experts said that it should be fine without them unless you plan on some serious off roading. I plan on going off road, but it is not a trophy truck. I would guess that the lift shops recommend it for 1) Liability, and 2) to make more money on your lift.
I would do it sooner than later

That's how it starts...take a little off the back and add a little to the front. The next thing you know...

Hey man, that's the truth.
My 2022 AT4 has the factory 2” lift kit. So, I got rid of the stock 20” wheels and Goodyear tires and installed Toyo Icon Alloys Compression 17x8.5 +0mm wheels w/ Toyo Open Country A/T III 35x12.50R17LT tires but needed to do a lot of trimming so, I installed the Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks in front, set for the most lift along with the 1.75” Ready Lift w/UCA’s which all combined raised my truck a total of 2.75” on top of the 2” factory lift (4.75” total) and now the rear is 1” lower than the front. I’m going to install the rear Bilstein 5100 shocks (no lift) and replace the 2" OEM block in the rear with a 3" block which should level the truck.
I really didn’t want the truck to be so high. This all started with the 35” Toyo’s which were too tall. In retrospect, I should have got 34” tires. The truck looks really cool but I’m getting older and it’s a chore to get into the damn thing. I could take the front apart again to set the shocks a bit lower but risk the chance that the tires will begin to rub again, not to mention the expense of doing so. My wife is really bitchin' because the truck is so high.
I'll post some pictures as soon as I get the rear lifted to where it belongs.

Believe it or not there isn't much out there on auto 4wd and level kits. I see RC issued a statement about not using auto 4wd if you level with the 1.7 kit or lift it higher. I haven't seen other companies like Zone issue the same statement.

What is the general consensus on this? I use auto 4wd regularly up here in Alaska and was planning to level the front end but wont if it affects the auto option.

Thanks

About to do a level on my 2025 AT4 3.0 and have been told any lift beyond the factory 2" that the At4s and Trail Bosses have it is required to get new UCAs. Mine stock currently sits Front: 38.5" and Rear: 41" from ground to top of fenderwell, centered on the hub. My rake is 2.5" I would like to get 2" up front but I do not see many level kits that will yield that.

I have the 1.75" RediLIFT Level with 35" tires, BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 LT285 /65 R20. I run auto 4 wd every time it rains. I have never had an issue...

Yes, you will need new UCAs. I have the 1.75" RediLIFT Level with UCAs and 35" tires, BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 LT285 /65 R20. It leveled out nicely.

Oh yeah no doubt if I go up at all from the stock AT4 height I will get UCAs. Has anyone used the lower shock mount spacers? I know someone on here mentioned them and they yielded a 1/2" or 1" lift.

Most of the leveling kits come with a puck for the top of the strut mount and a spacer for the lower control arm. I think the ReadyLift kit is 1" puck on top and 0.75" spacer at the bottom.
