iDash Pro no manual regen for 24/25

Bet you'll regret it when we all get to lose some stuff in boating accidents without fear of shark bites 🤔

Has anyone run the mobile regen? I tried, you have to start out with engine off ignition on, but was never able to actually get to the regen. I kept getting the message "mobile regen failed".

Update, you have to start the process from a completely shut off truck, you can just pull over turn off the engine and run it.

Got in, pressed start button for 6 seconds, turned on the idash. Selected mobile regen, OK'd the disclaimers and it said mobile regen enabled. Started truck and within a mile the regen turned on. Ran like normal from then on.

Did you have to be at 90% + for that to work?

So as a point of clarification, I have the old idash (I think the 1.8 version), I just tried to update and I'm still not finding a Regen option. Does this only apply to the new Bluetooth connected idash?

Update: yeah this doesn't work on the ""old"" Ibanks. BS. . Banks lost me. 400 dollars for updated Bluetooth capability after I just bought what they had available less than a year ago and now I won't have forced Regen? no thanks. Going to buy an edge CTS

You can trade in the old idash and get the new pro at a discount...I think it was $125 or $150. Just throwing it out there to you.

Do you have a link for that?
No...I called them and they sent me the link via text I believe. You fill out the information and they send you a shipping label to ship the old unit. When they receive the old unit, they send the new out to you.

Tel/Text: (800) 601-8072

I already own an classic iDash Datamonster and just ordered a IDash Pro Data using the discount after calling this number. Things may have changed but I got a 50% discount and get to keep my old iDash. I confirmed with Banks that I can use both in a dual configuration. I believe the discount only works if you own a 3.0L Duramax, not sure if it can also be used on the 6.7L or not

Jumped in Friday, started up and all my idash pages had changed to random fields and max number of pages. Don't forget to save your configuration once you have your pages set so you can restore when this kind of stuff happens. This is the 2nd time this has occurred.

By the “start button”, do you mean the push to start button? I’ve tried everything and still am
Getting the “mobile regen failed” message on my
2025 GMC. I updated the latest firmware as well. No luck.

You have to start with the truck completely off.

Foot off brake, press hold start button until dash turns on. Idash should also turn on.

Go into idash diagnostics menu, select mobile Regen, follow prompts. Once successfully done, start and drive .

If you don't begin with the truck off it will fail. I turn it off then open the door, close the door and go through the process
