Carbyte (DFM disabler for 2024) limited giveaway

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

If you’re experiencing Carbyte not properly disabling the start/stop function or AFM/DFM at random, please reach out to our support team.

We have seen an uptick in tracker devices installed in vehicles without the owner’s knowledge. Those devices interfere with Carbyte, preventing it from functioning properly. This occurs seemingly at random, when the tracker is using the OBD port to transfer data.

Our support team can help you identify such devices.
Good afternoon. I just purchased a 2026 AT4 6.2L any changes to the motor that you know of concerning the AMF/DMF. Does your product have updates for this years motor or is it till the same

Welcome. I cannot directly answer your question, however I have spoken to Carbyte service on several occasions and they are extremely helpful and eager to find solutions.
After I was so pleased with the Carbyte I purchased for my Yukon, I picked up another one for an early AFM/DFM Chevy truck we have around here. I reached out to Carbyte to let them know it did not work on the older Chevy. We had a few phone discussions, and they confirmed the issue with another truck they had available for testing. I just assumed that was it, but a few weeks later I received an email asking me to update the unit and try it again. I was able to confirm that it now worked. I could be the only customer they have with that make/model/year but they went out of their way to figure it out.
I'm fairly certain that a Carbyte should work just fine with your new truck, but if it doesn't work right now, give them a call and I'm sure it will work in a week or two.

Anyone else notice if you unplug the Carbyte for a few days that the auto start/stop stays off still?

I unplugged mine when I saw an update downloading and two days it stayed out the auto start/stop never came back on, didn't want it to but wondering if anyone else has noticed the same?

Never unplugged mine yet 🤣
Maybe I need to look into updates?

I meant the over the air GM updates, I had the remove the Carbyte to let them install. If you don't it keeps failing to install.

Not an update from Carbyte that allows it to work unplugged.

Mine just isn't working any longer for some reason. I've since plugged it back in so I'm not sure if it would default back after a few ignition cycles or not?
