Bed Cover Suggestions

I have ARE fusion in color match painted panels. I like it. As far as security goes, I would say most if not all of these are theft deterrents and not theft prevention. And depends on the thief. But it matches color, functions good, seems of good quality.

I have the Paragon and my issue is that when it accordion folds to the cab side of the bed, you can't load the bed fully if you plan to close it since you have to leave height clearance for it to unfold. If you put on a fiberglass cover with piston arms, then you can't haul something of height. I am not sure about the other options but I wish I would have researched this better!
That's kinda what I meant. But more the issue of loading what you can and then having it slide behind the folds so that when you go to open the cover it won't open all the way trapping whatever part of the load moved toward the cab to cause the issue in the first place.

Does anyone have experience with putting dirt bikes in the back with a bed cover flipped/rolled up? I'm considering either the Bak Flip or Revolver and trying to find out if i can tie down motorcycles.

I have the Revolver. You still need to use a block or something to chock your wheel because it doesn’t roll back enough to chock the wheel all the way against the bed of the truck. I think the Bak Flip allows you to chock the wheel. But you can’t see out of the back window. Kind of a give and take between the two styles.

Otherwise I love my revolver. I have the matte finishe one and it looks great.

Retrax is nice electric and manual. My brothers have had both. You have to hold the button to open or close for the entire time and no manual release.

Pace Edwards Ultragroove electric is the best of the Electric covers. They are a One button press open or closed, one click to stop, and have a release handle if something fails.

I had no problem with a revolver and dirt bikes.

I just picked up the GatorTrax. Seems like a solid retractable cover at a lower cost than most... I hope I didn't buy too cheap.

I have the Truxedo Sentry CT on mine. I am a fan of the low profile and the fabric top layer. I definitely wanted a sturdier and “harder for someone to get in to” cover than what I had on my Colorado. It’s held up so far, not that I’ve beat on it too bad but I try to take care of things. I still need to get spacers for my grab handle since it hits the rail piece for the cover ever so slightly. To each their own, but I just wasn’t a fan of the folding style and prefer the roll up style. They each have benefits though, good luck on your search! It took me a few months to decide and finally did it when my wife yelled at me to just go buy it 😂. I kept annoying her with my back and forth on brands and styles.
I have the same on our 2022 AT4 Really like it !!

The MX4 latches closed in 3 places. You have to pull a cable from under the cover to operate. So the tail gate has to be opened to access. So yes it is locked when the tail gate is closed and locked.

Has anyone installed a bed cover? Any suggestions? Brands, Warranty, ease of installation and security?
My son's and I installed these Diamondback HD covers on our trucks and are very happy with them. They are secure and can hold 1,600 lbs on top. We already have been utilizing the haul on top the cover feature but no where near the 1,600 lbs yet. Nice to be able to stand on also. We also got the tool bars, so far I only have my axe mounted.
