This is what I had put on my truck the day I purchased it- works great and love it,

I did the Roll N Lock for my new AT4X because that’s what the aftermarket guy at the GMC dealership recommended and it’s pretty good

But had the ReTrax similar product and about same costs on my last truck. I think the retractable mechanics felt smoother on that one.

I installed the Retrax Pro MX 80482 and the picture is in the pics thread, Easy install clamps to the box, seals well, might need 2 people to place the canister and rails on the bed, made in North Dakota.

Retrax Pro MX here also. Had one on my previous truck. Kind of spendy but I obviously think it’s worth it.

Retrax Pro for sure. Great cover with flexibility to add ladder racks, cross bars, bike carriers, etc.

I have had a Bakflip MX 4 on 4 diff trucks. They are great! Had a problem with one, just cosmetic, called them and they sent me a new one- no questions asked.

If a truck should ever find it's way into my possession I was thinking of a Paragon cover. But I don't like how it accordion folds into the bed space. Saw someone on here post about LOMAX and noticed that it is also easily removable so I think I'll go with that. The point of a truck for me is moving motorcycles. Most of the covers kill the space at the front where a front wheel would need to sit. None of them seem to provide a proper schematic of the actual space they take up so I won't be playing the guessing game if it will work or not. I'll just buy one that comes off easily. When I move big bikes I'll take it off. For everything else folding up should be good enough.

I have the Truxedo Sentry CT on mine. I am a fan of the low profile and the fabric top layer. I definitely wanted a sturdier and “harder for someone to get in to” cover than what I had on my Colorado. It’s held up so far, not that I’ve beat on it too bad but I try to take care of things. I still need to get spacers for my grab handle since it hits the rail piece for the cover ever so slightly. To each their own, but I just wasn’t a fan of the folding style and prefer the roll up style. They each have benefits though, good luck on your search! It took me a few months to decide and finally did it when my wife yelled at me to just go buy it . I kept annoying her with my back and forth on brands and styles.

I got the new Bak Revolver 4X (Matte finish) and I love it.. I had the older one on my previous truck and I loved the operation, but didn't like the shiny finish. The new one looks really good and it operates really smooth.. They upgraded the underside so it's pretty durable (No more cloth striping to come unglued. It all solid aluminum. (Hinges and slats).

Retrax Pro MX…buy once cry once…low profile and sturdy…smooth as glass while retracting also. Had a Roll n Lock on the ‘18 and I’m glad I went Retrax on the ‘22.

Another vote for the Retrax. Installed a couple weeks ago and the quality is definitely there.

Also, the Bakflip MX 4 can carry up to 400 lbs. on top of cover

I had the Bakflip prior to the Retrax Pro. They both have their pros and cons. The major cons with the Retrax is it takes up bed space and is expensive. But it locks down pretty good and opens up like a garage. Plus the MX Pr XR allows cross bars. The Bakflip does not take any bed space and secures the cargo. However you have to flip the panels to open which in my opinion is a bit cumbersome. Also I had trouble with the panels freezing to the bed in the winter. You can‘t go wrong with either choice. However I love my setup utilizing crossbars with the Retrax.

I have the Paragon and my issue is that when it accordion folds to the cab side of the bed, you can't load the bed fully if you plan to close it since you have to leave height clearance for it to unfold. If you put on a fiberglass cover with piston arms, then you can't haul something of height. I am not sure about the other options but I wish I would have researched this better!
